How George W. Bush Stole Your Money
Tweet
All those teabagger protesters insist that their real anger is about unaccountable bailouts, so they – and you – should check out this must-read article about how TARP money was just given away without accountability or follow up.
Oh, by the way, this all happened under the Bush administration.

Obama’s spent less $ on TARP than Bush did. LOTS less. The bailout was a fact before he even won the election.
I am shocked, shocked to learn that the government did something poorly. But surely if we keep giving them power and responsibility, they’ll eventually get one thing right. Right?
Who stole our money?
PS. The new add ribbon on the top of your page SUUUUCKS!!!!!! I realize you gotta pay the bills, but that thing needs to go post haste.
George W Bush = FORMER President.
Barack Obama = CURRENT President.
VF Excerpt “Last October, Congress passed the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008, putting $700 billion into the hands of the Treasury”
Now I agree the bailout was a bad idea, I do not believe in the too big to fail argument, but that doesn’t change the fact the Congress has to allocate the money, last time I checked Pelosi and Reid, where in charge there.
Henry Paulson, was also a runner up to the Man of the Year from time, you know the Bush loving magazine. Timothy Geithner, was head of the New York Fed, and assisted in the October “emergency”, Obama had enough confidence in these gentleman to leave one at the IMF, and Promote the other to the head of the Treasury Department.
All Bush did was work with the Democrat controlled congress on this emergency, how is this his fault, did he steal the check book and forge the checks? Just trying to keep things clear. –Impaler.

And Dubya signed it into law. If it was such a bad thing, then surely Dear Leader would have said so and vetoed the bill. Of course, since it was his bass-ackwards economic policies and lack of regulation that caused the problem in the first place, what more could we expect?

Buzz, when Republicans screw up repeatedly, it doesn’t prove that the government can’t do anything right. It only proves that Republicans can’t do anything right.
A good-bye kiss from the last GOP president we’re going to see for a long time.
When Obama became president he put in a stipulation that the remaining money in the bailout had to be paid back(so from his part of the bailout we’re getting interest). Where as, in Bush’s part of the bailout he didn’t do that so that money is gone in the wind.
But surely if we keep giving them power and responsibility, they’ll eventually get one thing right. Right?
Ah yes, the right with it’s screed that government just can’t work yet they’re desperate to get back in there and in power.
i like almost without accountability or follow up.line in this blog which all clear whether of won the election.
