Looking good for the Skins, Oliver. The Giants are missing their starting CBs, will be playing an undrafted rookie in the nickel spot for >50% of plays (they should have Campbell go 4 wide all game long), and the Skins D will have most of the Giants playbook. If they can’t steal this one, it’s probably going to be a long season..

Times like this, I almost wish I had a bookie..

    Offseason gets longer every year.

Let’s go Pats! I don’t mind the Redskins that much either.

    Hey OW,

This pic notwithstanding, what’s your take on Campbell? Is he a keeper for the ‘Skins?

  5. I’m a big JC fan, but he holds on the ball too long (the o-line was not great last year, but the best qbs adapt). He’s got no excuse to not excel this season.

JC’s got to run a bit more too. Nothing too crazy, just a few scrambles and the occasional designed run up the sideline. He’s big and lanky, Joe Flacco-esque. It would open things up passing-wise.

  7. Agreed. He holds on to the plays too long, not willing to just say screw it and run.

Jason Campbell is no Jay Cutler.

I kid, I kid. How ’bout Denver, ugliest 1-0 in recent memory. It’s the Orton factor. Memo to Denver: even when you win you’ll feel like you lost.

Of course, here in Seattle, rather than watching Skins/Giants, we’ve got Rams/Seahawks and their combined 6 wins last year (and 2 of those were when they played each other). Crap.

Sanchez looked good for the Jets today

  10. SaveFarris says:

By far the worst ‘past the line of scrimmage’ pass I’ve ever seen. Dude was 5 yards past!

Oh, and if you had Week 1 in the ‘When will Donvan McNabb get injured?’ pool … come on down!

    RAVENS!!!
