President Obama was on his game today.
And the President speaks in front of crowds that look like America.

LOL,
Sane America was protesting in DC.
“And the President speaks in front of crowds that look like America.”
Are you trying to imply that the folks protesting in DC don’t look like America?
The crowd looked pretty lilly-white to me.
But I’m glad they had their protest. They showed America that the teabaggers and the birthers are in lock-step with one another.
Not that reality-based Americans didn’t already know that.
Ok is it me, the fine wine I am enjoying, Or did Obama just steal one of GWBush’s “scowls”. Seriously, funnier than hell pause the video at 00:44, Well Bush did get a lot of bills past as president.
The crowd looked pretty lilly-white to me.
Not to mention lily-stupid.
Yglesias:
Yeah. If a cause or a protest is mostly white, it is not deserving of credit or legitimacy.
At all.
I was at the Minnesota event and the crowd covered the rainbow. While I can’t speak to the intelligence of everybody there, my seat neighbor and I got acquainted by comparing recollections of initiatives past, running all the way back to JFK (earlier ones we relied on historical accounts). Just an aside, the microphone went on the fritz for the two doing the Pledge and the National Anthem. The crowd immediately filled the gap, affirming their patriotism to these United States. A very emotional moment.
