While I certainly believe reporters should check their sources and not publish until they are sure of their facts, I don’t see some notable failure here. This isn’t a hard news piece. It’s a short, barely over 100 word opinion. “Facebook has this new feature. For these reasons, can’t see why anyone would want to use it.”
And, “breathless”? Where in the world do you see that?
