Seriously, I’m going to pretend that they’re not…that…stupid.
*sigh* More disruptive behavior.
@chow shark
Pretend harder. Your current amount of pretending they aren’t that stupid isn’t working.
The serious people in the GOP don’t want to lead, and the leaders aren’t serious.
I know Chris I know.
I try to give cons the benefit of the doubt.
The more militiaisms you spout the more the Foxies say you’re a “true conservative”
Oh, and certainly anything you find at Think Progress couldn’t possibly be considered “fringe”.

ThinkProgress is about as moderate left as they come. Show me anything radical over there. While you’re at it, do the same at Media Matters (where I work) – another place the right always attacks as “fringe”. Like myself, these places and institutions are firmly in the mainstream of the American left (in the case of CAP, some have accused them of being too middle-of-the-road).
You guys make this accusation all the time but can’t back it up at all. Conservative sites like Free Republic think we should kill medicare and social security, torture and kill as many arabs as possible, etc. Those are fringe wackjob ideas, out of the mainstream of at least official GOP positions.
Wow, Oliver I did not know you worked at Media Matters, but one issue my friend, and it is only style not substance, but “mainstream” means that, not “mainstream of the left” not trying to be a dick, I believe you have a great site and writing style, just trying to help.
Now I frankly am a centrist only interested in unfiltered truth, neither Media Matters or New Republic sites are unfiltered, for instance Media Matters “birther” reporting, is filtered through a pro Obama lens, No he has never shown his birth certificate to the public, now that is the truth, (I am not a birther, easy guys) what has been shown is a certificate of live birth, (fact) this was not issued at the time of birth. And in fact a Lawsuit is moving forward in Orange County, California, to force proof of citizenship, so New Republic, reports what it sees through the anti-Obama Lens, and the two groups end up at opposite ends of the political media spectrum. Oh and I could give a 5 hour lecture on both of these sites agendas and reporting. But as I said I prefer the Truth. I believe Obama was born in Hawaii, but why has he spent close to one million dollars (last year) to not show his birth certificate, violation of privacy laws? Are you kidding you don’t become POTUS and expect privacy. I could go topic by topic, ad nauseam, and I am a busy guy.
So Sayeth the Impaler
Thanks for letting us know you are crazy. Seriously, what else is there to say to people about birth certificate bunkum? C-r-a-z-y.
Oliver, yea I should have used another example for my Media Matters vs. New Republic arguement, but it is at the forefront of both sites. But, everything I said there is factual, and that was my “crazy” point. This issue is not going away anytime soon.
I do love your Blog though, you have attracted a great group of people.
Impaler!
