Care to explain to anyone how the “means of production” are under threat? The US auto industry received a bail-out, but the idea is that they’ll hopefully get back on their feet. If US troops had stormed Detroit and Flint and taken over factories you’d have a point.

Personally I was opposed to giving the auto industry anything (Japan and Korea make much better cars, so let the free market take its course). But it was the mostly-Republican industry leaders for GM and so on that were begging hardest for the bail-out. And it did save jobs (although they might be gone again in a few years).

Not by making a big deal out of all the advisors Bush had. Hell, we figured he could use all the advice he could get.

Obama inherited the biggest domestic and foreign shitpile than any president has in decades, and, no, he hasn’t been able to wave a magic wand and make all the problems in the world disappear, but by and large he’s making progress on many fronts and holding his own on others.

You guys got nothing real, absolutely nothing, which is why you have to make federal cases out of these bullshit issues. Doesn’t matter whether things are working or not — since the country isn’t being governed the way you’d like you’re determined to tear it all down no matter what the cost. Shame on you.
