"For goodness sakes, acting classes first."

Goodness, we're not talking Shakespeare or Eugene O'Neil here, lol.

Can I say now that Jack Nicholson made a much better Joker

You can say that, but you would be wrong. Nicholson took that role and played it using only a slightly different alchemy of chemicals "insane" and "dangerous" that he has otherwise used in many of his other such roles. Nicholson's Joker is a dollop of his deranged Shining author, a splash of his Witches of Eastwick devil, and touches of Randle McMurphy.

Entertaining? Sure. And very good if what you're after is the 70s-80s Joker--cartoonishly violent, but ultimately not that scary.

Ledger's Joker was about madness and chaos, and fit perfectly into Nolan's vision of Batman. Nicholson's Joker wouldn't have worked at all in these new films. He wouldn't have gone deep enough.

As for Megan Fox...no. Not if you want to maintain the world Nolan's created. You want to introduce Batman's love interest, you can't lose sight of the fact that she's as damaged and mentally unstable as he is, which is why she's so dangerous.

I actually don't think she's a bad actress. She's not great by any stretch, but not as bad as you would maybe assume someone so pretty is.

I agree, she's not bad to look at, but as an actress she's useless.

To be honest, I was annoyed with Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman, and she's got a hell of a lot more talent at a glance than Fox.

I just wish comic book movies would actually use comic books as reference when they make these films. Marvel has done a better job of that with their installments, but even the recent Christian Bale vehicles have come closer to the story, but in contrast are really just Hollywood crap. They have to invent characters and situations to make the movie sell when the comic book itself has that.

I mean why not tap Allen Moore's The Killing Joke when presenting the Joker? Instead we got some brooding disturbed psycho that we can't criticize because the actor died tragically.

Can I say now that Jack Nicholson made a much better Joker, but that movie, like all of the Batman movies has been crap compared to the stories read in the comic.

Bring Meghan Fox in as a crappy Selena Kyle wearing shiny pleather and a stupid plot line that sells sex and crap and of course make sure you kill off that villain. Batman always kills the bad guy right?*

*For anyone that doesn't read comics, Batman doesn't kill, that's a huge deal IMO.

Uh, no. She's an awful actress. And she's one of those people where the worst thing to ever happen to her in her life is someone told her she was cute. She now walks around like the world owes her something for that.
