So, everything went well with CK’s little procedure. He had been throwing up and was backed up, turned out to be a big time episode of constipation, but at his age (almost 10) he had to go through anesthesia to have it taken care of. Plus I am a big baby when it comes to him. But he’s okay, just a bandage for where they had to put the drugs into him. He is Champion.
I just have to take the rest of the day to pamper him. More than usual, that is.
Thanks for the well wishing and good comments everyone, it meant a lot to me.

My brother’s Kitty just had the same procedure. Still won’t let anybody put him pet her. His golden retriever had to have his tail amputated. No one thinks he’s noticed yet (but he’s sweet).

Those little hunting dogs are tough. I had a little old terrier who couldn’t make the jump over a sharp edged log and wound up with 25 stitches. Two days later he went about all his business as usual even with the plastic megaphone on his head.
Glad he’s pulled through. My Blue has a bit of bran mixed in with his food to help him in this way (as with so many people).
Isn’t it about time you had a youthful doggy assistant for CK (perhaps called JO (for Jimmy Olsen))? Company for pets (even cats! ugh!) keep them young.
On another note, kudos to all the guys who dislike your politics for realising that some things are more important. This is just too often missing from our TV pundits.
Um, perhaps not JO. Heh, but when I do have more space I intend on either a Kal-el/Olsen or Lana/Lois. Yes, I’m really going to name my dog that. And yes, thanks to everyone – left, right and otherwise – for their thoughts.

There is gray on his muzzle but his eyes are bright and clear. Take extra joy in pampering your furry friend the next few days. These are the good times.
