"Too many people flooded the zone. No where to pass the ball."

Dennis

People? I guess you're talking about the shouting slobs who packed the town halls after they lost the election?

Brilliant analogy, by the way. Why don't we "pass the ball" to the Top Ten health insurance CEOs who average $11.9 million a year in compensation? Better they get that money than the 50 million Americans currently uninsured get health care. Better someone picks your pocket in a free market than we put our money together to get health care like all other Western democracies have (because THAT WOULD BE SOCIALISM!).

Obama's numbers are down because liberals are frustrated that he isn't doing MORE. Nice try, though. Why don't you cite some more song lyrics? Always a good idea when you don't have an argument.

Government Health Care: awesome.

Farris, at the VA, the abuses described in the article you linked are illegal and punishable by law.

How about at private insurance companies?

When asked silly question #2 about a large government role in health insurance, they get 77% of respondents support.

But when an actual plan is described that includes said large government role (silly question #6), they can only 614 out of 1200 people surveyed (aka: 51%) to agree that it is a good plan.

Gee, do you think something might be funny about that 77% number?

I thought TK had health insurance coverage. Pretty good plan, if fact. What was your point again? Was it classy?

Do we still not have a pool going on how soon Obama's health care reform will pass? And I guess things like the public option of mandatory sex change death panels could be in there too.

We should be talking about a "private option", where government-administered health care is the default. After all, it is the private sector that has failed here, not the government.

"Government Health Care: awesome."
Right on cue, the speck of grit in the oyster shell that gives rise to the lustrous pearl of stupid.

Looks like the VA matter is being looked into Farris, unlike let's say a pivate provider, where bonuses may undergo scrutiny but not much else will happen while their clients can be cut off at a whim.

Oh noes! teh gubnit' can't hope to meet standards that high!

Hmmm...wait, according to the MSM during 2004 and 2005, 45% still means you're a "popular" President. (BTW, ABC News poll out today showed him with 57% approval.)

-------------

President Barack Obama's popularity has plummeted to a record low, with just 45 percent of voters now approving of his performance as commander in chief, according to the latest Zogby International poll.

Asked whether they approve or disapprove of the president's job performance, just 45.3 percent of likely voters say they approve. That compares with 50.5 percent who disapprove of the job Obama is doing.

The results are a strong indication that contentious national debate over healthcare reform has taken a major toll on the president's popularity.....

...."Clearly, the healthcare reform package is dragging him down," Morris tells Newsmax, "and will drag every Democrat down unless they realize that they cannot afford to alienate the elderly of America by cutting Medicare and rationing medical care."
