If you find yourself working for a private company that forces you to attend a mandatory pep rally where your CEO feeds you all a political propaganda rant, you should start wondering where it all started going wrong for you. Employees in a company are paid to do a job. They’re not paid to serve as props for staged propaganda rallies.

Awesome. Why bother asking people to show up for a staged rally, when you can just bus in your own employees and make them cheer for you? Same effect, and so much more efficient. The best democracies are the ones you pay for, right?

Suicida|: Sounds about right, at least that is what Professor Richard Lindzen of MIT has to say about it.

If for no other reason than this: the IPCC assumes that the concentration of CO2 in 2100 will be 836 ppmv (parts per million volume). However, current graphs based on real data show that CO2 concentrations will only be 570 ppmv in 2100, cutting the IPCC’s estimates in half right there.

Yup. A 38% decrease cuts things in half.

Oh, wait.

And one should always project what’s going to happen by over the next 100+ years based on a 6-8 year period. Why, I know an 8 year old who only grew an inch in the last year. Clearly by the time he’s 20 he’s going to be only a bit over 4 1/2 feet tall.
