TV nation used to be even better in the UK, because when you had an ad break, he’d tell us something he wasn’t permitted to say in the USA (like their who gets the best care for a broken leg between the USA, Canada, and Cuba test).
Roger and me was a very sad film, but it is his best (that I have seen). No grandstanding like he did in Bowling for Columbine IMO.
The woman with the rabbits for me was quintessential USA. She had no money, so she bred rabbits for an income. When life throws you lemons indeed. Touching.

I have never liked any of Moore’s movies.

Really? I liked them for the most part. The Pat Boone and Bob Eubanks bits in “Roger & Me” were pretty awesome. Same with the Charlton “President of the NRA” Heston portion of “Bowling for Columbine,”

Moore: You don’t have any opinion,
though, as to why that is, that we are the unique country, the only country, that does this, that kills each other on this level, with guns?
NRA Prez Heston: Well, we have, probably, more mixed ethnicity than other countries, some other countries.

Ah, Republican racism. Good times.
“Sicko” is especially relevant and prescient. What didn’t you like about that film? Plus “TV Nation” was funny (remember when he set off a bunch of car alarms outside of the Car Alarm Magnate’s house? Big funny.)

But uh, this one looks kinda interesting. I just hope he doesn’t go the route of the Obama deception and cater to the tin foil hat crowd.
