Video: “One Regular, One Indian”

This makes my head hurt. I comfort myself with the thought that it might not be real. I hope.

If it is real, it’s a pretty good example of what orthodox religion screws up in people.

Tough to tell. If it is a fake, who is it supposed to offend – Christians who believe what this “Molly” girl is saying, but resent her airheaded way of saying it. Or, is it supposed to offend people who disagree with “Molly”? Real or not – I was heartened by the many videos in response that schooled Molly on her attitude.

This is totally fake. For one thing, it’s on College Humor. For another, the outrageous things that “Molly” is saying are a little too deadpan, and followed by a beat…these kids are clearly doing a planned improv.

    God, I hope I’m right.

It was originally on YouTube, which is where I first saw it. I think College Humor thought it was fake (and I sure hope it is), and put it on their site.

  4. KXB says:

BTW – if it was an attempt at humor, it failed as badly as the “satiric” Barack and Michelle Obama cover on The New Yorker last year.

  5. There’s no way I could sit through this whole thing so I skipped around, and I like that when the middle girl is talking about hell, the desi girl just reaches for the cereal. Like, whateva.

Asian or African? Oh, dear God!

  7. jojo says:

Yeah, I only got 30 seconds in before it annoyed me enough to stop.

    You wasted my time. Thanks.

  9. Sparky says:

“You are not Hindu..you just think you are.” Oh brother, as an Atheist I’ve heard that line all my life..never fails to crack me up!

We should pray to Jesus and Krishna it is a fake.

I would believe it a fake on the basis of those girls don’t know the difference between Asia and Africa…..but then again 1 in 5 Americans think the sun orbits the earth.
