Too bad the Senate Finance Committee caved to the misinformation and fear-mongering of the Sarah Palins of America. And Peter Roff is indeed a right-wing writer, and U.S. News and World Report has had staunchly conservative people like Michael Barone and John Leo write for them...so when "some guy" implies (through sarcastic means) that the above-mentioned magazine is liberal, he doesn't know what he's talking about.

Interesting that U.S. News & World Report, (which we all know is a very extreme right-wing source), is claiming victory for Palin in the Obamacare debate.
Score One for Sarah Palin on the Healthcare Reform Death Panels

"Well I think it's proper," said Steele, when Cavuto asked him about Palin's remarks, "because it's in the context of what people are seeing in some of the legislation that's floating around out there.
Not that what they're seeing actually exists. But these wingnuts don't deal with reality. That's already been established pretty clearly. No, they like to jump at the imaginary monster under the bed.
When you're talking about panels that are gonna be imposed, that will be making life-and-death decisions, that will be making decisions about whether or not you get health care or don't receive health care, I think that's perfectly appropriate."
Yeah, he's talking about panels. Not anything that's actually in any proposed bill, mind you.
