Team Epic Failure

That’s the name I’m giving to the former Bush staffers running for public office. These people probably shouldn’t even have their citizenship still, let alone be elected to an office where they can actually do things to people.

“…and so, while we’ll be provided hours and hours of comedy gold, it is to be hoped the Democrats don’t play the ‘prevent defense’ like the 2004 Kerry campaign did.”
I prefer Team Rocket, because they’re just as comical, but Team Epic Failure works too.
After 6 Months, More View Obama’s Presidency as a ‘Failure’ Than Bush’s
CNN/Opinion Research Poll
Team Epic Failure…….indeed.
The trend is not Obama’s friend. ‘Mob’ accusations surely can’t be helping.
Dennis,
After September 11 of this year, if 3000 Americans have not died in a terrorist attack, I think we will be able to agree that Obama is doing a better job than Bush did.
So the strategy you’re going with is … name calling? Substantive!
@ Dennis
I’m glad that you mentioned that within 45 days of him being in office, prominent Republicans began publicly calling for Obama to fail (unlike the calls for acceptance when Bush got into office). I’m sure such seeds of negativity have played a part in people’s perceptions, especially when you add to that the revelation that a majority of Republicans believe President Obama isn’t even an American citizen and all. Good catch!
What? You didn’t mention that? Go figure.
(unlike the calls for acceptance when Bush got into office).
What alternate universe do you live in? The Left STILL bitches about Florida.
Just coming out of your behind, Pryme, that one’s still got some stank on it.
Any kind of reference, link, quote? Anything?
Well, looky that.

@ Dennis,
If you have $30.00 you watch the Senate Session (Third from the top) where Al Gore basically told the Black Congressional Congress to give it up.
If you’re feeling brave, there’s always the first 8 minutes of ‘Fahrenheit 9/11′ where you’ll see some of the Senate session, prefaced by Tom Daschele calling for “acceptance.”
I’m still waiting for proof of violent acts against Bush while he were touring the country trying to get support for Social Security reform and other such things, btw. You know, the violent acts you guys said were being committed just like the Tea Baggers are doing now? Take your time.
Bush was coasting on Clinton success his first six months while Obama has to struggle uphill against Bush failures. But we don’t look at context do we?
Most places I worked the managers would cut some slack to the guy who inherited a clusterfuck, while expecting more out of the guy who inherited a successful project. But rationality doesn’t apply in Wingnutopia.

Handing out $600 to everyone in the country might have greased the wheels a little bit, ya? I always saw that as a payoff. “Here, here’s 600 bucks, I’m gonna do what I want and you don’t say nothin’, alright?”
Repack, out of curiosity, on which date did the terrorist attack become entirely Bush’s fault?
I’m still waiting for proof of violent acts against Bush while he were [sic] touring the country trying to get support for Social Security reform and other such things
Asked and answered.
on which date did the terrorist attack become entirely Bush’s fault?
As soon as he ignored the Clinton transition team’s naming terrorism the highest of policy priorities for the incoming administration.
Despite being told that terrorism and specifically Osama were the most important threats to the country, Bush did not direct any resources toward the problem. The first meeting on the subject by National Security Adviser Condoleeza Rice was scheduled for — September 12. Bush took no steps to address the PDB of August 6 advising him of the immediate threat. He went on vacation without even attempting to identify the nature of the threat.
In any event, if Bush was not responsible, in your view, for anything thwt took place between his inauguration and September 11, then I guess Obama isn’t responsible for anything bad that has happened so far during his administration. In your view.
