Meanwhile, let’s take a look at the top of the heap (and I mean that literally), Massachusetts.

Is there a more ineptly run state in the union? It’s certainly not the most corrupt (Illinois and Louisiana HAVE to take those trophies), but good lord, what an ungodly mess that state is.

My best friend and his family live just outside Baltimore, and every time I visit, I commiserate with him.

(Proud New Hampshirite — no sales tax, no income tax, no seat belt or helmet laws for adults, legislators make $100.00/year plus mileage… and, unfortunately, a whole slew of freshly-elected Democrats who are working to change most of that…)

What’s particularly devastating for Team Red in Maryland is that O’Malley is disliked pretty intensely by a lot of people, including a lot of Democrats of course, but Democrats still would rather fight than switch.

60% is a horrible percentage, neither party respects you. Do you think they really care what your views on issues with those numbers? Unless that is they tell you what your views are, and you like it that way.

Oh yeah? I live in the most Republican area of South Carolina, and one of the most Republican metropolitan areas of the country (Greenville-Spartanburg). Ha!
