I’m not sure what the point of that poll was, but I did find it interesting that once again that republicans were shown to be way more ignorant about a scientific issue than just about any other demographic.

And what’s with the preceding Pangaea question? WTF?

You mean we take Andy Sullivan and a handful of wierdos, and you take Lou Dobbs, NRO, Orly Taitz, Alan Keyes and about half of what’s left of the Republican party membership?

Kerry isn’t the subject here, but here’s the section he violated:

UCMJ SECTION 904. ART. 104. – AIDING THE ENEMY

(2) without proper authority, knowingly harbors or protects or gives intelligence to or communicates or corresponds with or holds any intercourse with the enemy, either directly or indirectly; shall suffer death or such other punishment as a court-martial or military commission may direct.

Kerry entered the Service on February 18, 1966.

Kerry was released from active duty and transferred to the Ready Reserve on January 3, 1970.

Under oath before the United States Congress, April 22, 1971:

“I have been to Paris,” Kerry said. “I have talked with both delegations at the peace talks, that is to say the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and the Provisional Revolutionary Government and of all eight of Madam Binh’s points . . . .”

Kerry was transferred to the Standby Reserve – Inactive on July 1, 1972.

Kerry’s honorable discharge is dated February 16, 1978.

I got some weird e-mails from a guy based on a comment I made here a few days ago mocking the GOP/birthers.

In the same vein, to all the birthers in La, La Land, it is on you to prove to all of us that your assertion is true, if there are people who were there and support your position then show us the video (everyone has a price), either put up or frankly shut-up. I heard Orly Taitz, is selling a tape (I think it’s called “Money, Lies and Video tape”). She is from Orange County, CA, now I know what the mean when they say “behind the Orange Curtain”, when they talk about Orange County, the captial of Conspiracy Theories. You know Obama has a passport, he travel abroad before he was a Senator, but I guess he fooled them too?

Lemme see if I got this straight: Al gore was the basis of Love Story and John Kerry was the basis for Apocalypse Now?
