And I don't mean us the taxpayers. If he loses his seat, even to a Republican, we've lost nothing. We don't have a usable 60 seat majority anyway, and we won't have one for many years. It's time to stop pretending 60 is some kind of magic number and focus on getting Democrats elected who at least won't vote with the other side. If we can't do that let the seat go red. At least we'd know where we stand. Reid is doing his duty to those who pay him. And I don’t mean us the taxpayers. If he loses his seat, even to a Republican, we’ve lost nothing.
