You know, the thought occurs to me that wingers and their enablers got the Congress to hurriedly take up the important issue of offically condemning that terrible, horrible, very bad MoveOn “General Betrayus” ad. In the course of that imbroglio we got to see Congresscritters appear on the teevee machine and answer as to whether they supported the nefarious and treasonable MoveOn.

Can we get a Congressional Resolution officialy condemning the birfers? And then get any Republican appearing on television to have to officially answer as to whether or not they support the resolution?

  2. Rheinhard says:

Oh holy crap — looks like somebody had more or less the same idea!

said Shannon. “If Ken Cuccinelli wants to be Virginia’s top law enforcement official, he shouldn’t have a problem condemning these remarks and the implication that violence is an acceptable solution to any political dispute.”

I don’t get why he can’t. Folks have said he can’t condemn the remarks without pissing off his right-wing base. But is it really that hard for someone to craft a few sentences which say something like “Violence isn’t the answer to any political dispute and we urge everyone to show the power of the ballot box by voting for me.” I thought politicians were supposed to be good at the non-apology apology, the non-condemning condemnation, etc.

Not that I’d vote for him anyway, but demonstrating he’s not smart enough to come up with a reasonable response to this ad would stop me if nothing else did.

Tea Party members are bad in the views of leftists because they are counter protesors to astroturf brigade pushing Obamacare. Afterall, FOUR ACORN members were outmanuevered in Suffolk County, New York this weekend by Tea Party members. Moveon.org had a protest outside oone of Senator John Cornyn’s offices in Texas BUT Tea Party members ruined the party-AWWW! Also last week outside of Senator Claire McCaskill’s offices in St.Louis ACORN people showed up but were soon met by Tea Party people. The way the left has reacted to the Tea Party people is the way school yard punks-5th graders react two new kids-in 6th grade who are bigger stand up to the them. Also their reactions are like members of pro sports team who like late hits, head hunting in baseball and hard slides who have tables turned on them.

clearly this person speaks from experience … very recent experience.

  6. BartG says:

Real story is the Soros-funded astroturf brigade pushing Obamacare is encountering counter protests from Tea Party members. That’s whats got the leftwingers freaked out big time.

And right on wing-nut cue, Michelle Bachmann blocked the bill.

    /wipes tear

Thank you, modern-day GOP, for being so fucking insane as to not care that you’ve become the idiot fringe party of racists, secessionists, and lord knows what else.

Who do you think put her up to it?
