Conservatives A Problem, Even Inside The Democratic Party
Tweet
The conservative Blue Dog Democrats are blocking health care reform, based on what I can best see as a combination of silliness on deficits and insurance industry donations. What they and too many Senators don’t understand is that we didn’t send them to Washington to play it safe and keep their seats. We sent them there to work.

Absolutely spot on analysis. Two words – “term limits”.
… OR the only reason these Blue Dogs were able to win these seats in the first place was Republicans went pork-mad and lost the right to be called the fiscally sane party. The Blue Dogs know that if they break their promise to hold the line on spending, they’ll get voted out post haste just like the Republicans were.
Blue Dogs are street walkers waiting on the corner for lobbyist johns
No, they got there to represent their constituents…And many of these constituents are conservative democrats, and/or fiscal conservatives.
