That is the number for Sen. Harry Reid’s office. If you were to call it you could ask the majority leader of the United States senate to take the 60 votes in his caucus and make a vote on some health care for the 300 million of us before he goes off for summer vacation.
It would be nice.
More here.

“make a vote on some health care for the 300 million of us before he goes off for summer vacation.”
?????????????? health care??
Is it health care or health insurance that you are whining about???
Everyone that I know has health insurance and the ones that don’t choose not to.
I don’t get your point. Is there even a point, or are you just being petulant and ignorant at the same time?
Oliver, while I agree with your point, I doubt the Majority Leader is going to listen to the likes of us for a second.
You’re in MD, I’m in CA….neither of us are in/from NV, and neither of us are million-dollar donors to the DSCC or Sen. Reid personally.
Whatever the man’s faults, he knows very well who and what butters his bread, and it ain’t us. What is really needed is to line his travel routes with screaming teeny-boppers holding signs demanding a return to the Senate Chambers to vote on the HealthCare package and its attendant Public Option. If we make his vacation a waking nightmare maybe he’ll change his assessment of his constituents from “those with lots of money to give me” to “those who voted me into office”.
Political Realities….a depressing subject for Friday blogging…

Hey, maybe we should appropriate the #dontgo movement for something actually, you know, worthwhile?
joaquin, you’re a terrible person.
I don’t get your point.
Color me shocked.
there’s dense and then there’s singularity dense.

Actually, joaquin, it’s……. you pay for yours, you pay for everyone else who isn’t covered.
There! Happy?
I never was able to get through to the DC office, so I told the Carson City staffer that the Majority Leader should do some leading of the majority rather than following the irrelevant minority.
