Cambridge Police To Drop Charges On Henry Louis Gates Jr.

Again, racism totally solved, nothing to see here.

Police who arrested prominent Harvard University black scholar Henry Louis Gates Jr. at his home after a reported break-in have recommended that the charge against him be dropped.

A person with knowledge of the case said Cambridge police are expected to announce their decision later Tuesday.

    If the president were walking alone without the security- he would be stopped one day also.
    My question is the NEIGHBOR who called they did not know Prof gates?? It is the NEIGHBOR and her snoppiness that started all this mess.. Talk to her. I hope you all realize charges dropped or not they are still on a record forever.

    Oh, absolutely. Were my neighbor ever to see what she believes to be a crime in progress I’d prefer she mind her own business and not call the cops.
