BTTF is perfection in cinematic form. I think I’m the only person I know/alive who hates BTTF2. 3 is pretty good.

BttF 2 is that rare sequel that manages to go back and alter the events in its predecessor, instead of merely following them – a pretty smooth time-travel trick in its own right.

But I still feel the first is the best of the series. Crispin Glover is terrific as both young and middle-aged George (and sorely missed in the sequels), and young Lorraine infatuation with Marty gives the film a wonderfully awkward reverse-Oedipal tension.

BttF 1 is the better overall movie, pt 2 was more entertaining. But it built off of one. It’s basically the same movie. Well, it literally IS the same movie.

I’m not sure what the big deal is with the BTTF clip, considering they had to reshoot that scene in order to replace the actress.
