So Delta Airlines is under fire from a union because they are limiting their new uniforms to women size 18 and larger smaller. Sounds rational to me, but this nimrod (Meme Roth of “National Action Against Obesity”) on Fox who is part of some anti-fat group thinks this is a prime opportunity to attack fat folks. Now, Stuart Varney is usually an idiot, but this thing must have hit too close to home – Varney isn’t fat, but he has some slight pudge, and he just tears this woman a new one. It isn’t really news, its Fox News:

Why does he bring her just to attack her argument? Wouldn’t it be simpler not to bring in airheads like her?
Her name is Meme? That’s awesome.
at least here in Europe I’m pretty sure overweight ppl can’t become flight attendants anyway, as they have to pass fitness and exercise test to get hired in the first place.
“…as they have to pass fitness and exercise test to get hired in the first place.”
If you made it a fitness test, then it would be another matter.
‘You have to be fit, in case of emergency.’ is a lot easier to sell than, ‘Size 17 is fine, size 18 is not.’
What did she say about having fat people in her family? There’s no hatred as strong as self-hatred. I’m thinking of you, Repub Right who gets nailed embracing the love that dare not speak its name

Sorry–Blackberries aren’t all they’re cracked up to be
With those glasses she look a bit like a character in a porn movie.
[...] so I thought until today - when I read this post on MeMe Roth. I’d never seen or heard of her before, so I did some searching… and found out more [...]
You’re right, Meme. Size does matter. You are have dieted your brain to a dangerously tiny size. It needs some fat, because it is no functioning properly. You are not qualified to speak as an expert on anything but dangerous obsessions with food.
