Specter Vs. Sestak
Tweet
This might be a decent line of attack from Arlen Specter… if he hadn’t just become a Democrat five minutes ago after multiple decades as a Republican.
Pennsylvania Sen. Arlen Specter called his fellow Democrat, Rep. Joe Sestak, a ‘flagrant hypocrite’ and accused his rival of registering as a Democrat ‘just in time to run for Congress.’

He’s also a green reptilian creature who communicates by hissing and craves glowing crystals and human flesh.
It’s a smart move. He’s trying to neutralize Sestak’s main appeal– that of being the *real* Democrat. Everyone in the state already knows that Arlen isn’t a real Democrat, but they know little about Sestak.
It’s a tactic often used by the right wing: Accuse your opponents of being/doing what you are/doing.
Look at how easy it is to flip:
Pennsylvania Rep. Joe Sestak called the recent Republican and now fellow Democrat, Sen. Arlen Specter, “a ‘flagrant hypocrite’ and accused his rival of registering as a Democrat ‘just in time to run for Congress.’”
This is going to be a fun race to follow. I think Specter may be in for tough race after all.
Like how Hillary Clinton was a life-long New Yorker?
Clinton was the best Republican President since Lincoln.
Well, there is the small problem that Sestak was an admiral until 2006 and just like Powell when he was in the military, decided not to register for any political party.
Of course, I question how much of a real Democrat Sestak is… considering his vote on that FISA bill, which included amnesty for the telcomms.

It’s those hippies at the USNA.
When did Hilary ever claim that she was “a life-long New Yorker?”
I guess it takes a while to get that Republic projection gene turned off.
