Yeah. These prove why we don’t need to bother going back to the moon. It looks just like it did 40 years ago this month when we went the first time.

agreed … ofc there might be some scientific value there I’m not seeing, but otherwise I totally don’t get why we’d want to go to the moon again. Mars, yeah, why not, at least it’s something new, and much bigger, and a real planet, but hey … whatever the US wants to spend money on …

Actually, there’s many in the space exploration community, including Rappin’ Buzz Aldrin, who think the moon is the logical place to launch further deep space missions, including any Mars manned flights.

Not to mention the idea that a permanent Lunar colony is just so freaking cool:

I highly recommend watching the series ‘Exodus Earth’ with Dr. Basil Singer. He did a show on colonizing Mars, and it could totally work. Plus the fact that he’s just a hottie.
