Republican Ronald Reagan was no Ronald Reagan.

Hollywood entertainer Ronald Reagan was a fictional character his entire life. Reagan was too weak to serve the military in World War II (or at least managed to evade service with that excuse), Reagan abandoned his first wife, Reagan alienated his children, and Reagan sold out America.

And those were the least of Republican Reagan's crimes. Reagan funded terrorists around the world and repeatedly broke the law throughout his Presidency.

And for funding terrorism and repeatedly breaking the law right wing extremists celebrate Ronald Reagan.

It's sick.

Guess the funding of Central American death squads and ignoring the AIDS epidemic really did it for you.

Zython, if you've ever even once lauded George W. Bush for his approving massive funds for AIDS research, I have yet to read it.

And that makes you a hypocrite. A hypocrite who also happens to be a clueless twit who always shows up late and makes totally irrelevant comments.

The D does the job of your “die.” And no showing here - this is a family blog. I paralleled John Coles route. I think the “best and brightest” should reap rewards and receive punishments, in government and corporations, the way the rest of us have to.

Jaim, you don't want to know what factor applies to your salary vs. my average commission over the last 3 years. Maybe you do, though. You seem to be petulantly goading me for some weird reason.

Is today 'I showed you mine, now you show me yours' day at the kindergarten, Jaim?

The aha moment. Learn us. You tell us yours and we’ll tell you ours.

Well, freDdie, it was about the time I started pulling in some nice commish checks and seeing where it was going. It was about the time of the Jimmy Carter misery years. I got pretty decent money market returns, it's just that inflation was up around 18% too, so it really didn't mean much. A conservative named Ronald Reagan provided that 'aha' moment.

Barack Obama wants to be the next Ronald Reagan. Barack Obama is no Ronald Reagan. We're likely headed back to those Carter misery years. And God help us all if it does.

Eating cheetohs and trolling on a liberal blog is not supporting your wife, unemployable Dennis.

But you found a woman willing to put up with a lazy bigot like yourself. Congratulations, I guess.

Jaim, I've supported my wife for 21 years and she's supported me for 21 years. We support each other. Maybe one day you'll experience first hand how that works so you don't have to keep making clueless comments like that. You're over 30 years old, you should know that without the real experience. Maybe that's why it is you're having trouble, why you keep running away from things.

Tell me why it is you have this burning desire to find out what it is I do. Is it because you want to learn something?

Oh really, Newsie?

Rasmussen: Obama still slipping

Barack Obama’s “passion index” rating dropped to the lowest level of his presidency, according to the latest Rasmussen polling. Thirty-six percent of respondents now strongly disapprove of his performance, compared to 33% who strongly approve, giving him a -3 rating. The poll does not completely cover the period of time since the last unemployment report, meaning that he may still drop further:

Gallup: US moving conservative ideologically

Despite the results of the 2008 presidential election, Americans, by a 2-to-1 margin, say their political views in recent years have become more conservative rather than more liberal, 39% to 18%, with 42% saying they have not changed. While independents and Democrats most often say their views haven't changed, more members of all three major partisan groups indicate that their views have shifted to the right rather than to the left.

Quinnipiac:
President Barack Obama gets a lackluster 49 - 44 percent approval rating in Ohio, considered by many to be the most important swing state in a presidential election, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today. This is President Obama's lowest approval rating in any national or statewide Quinnipiac University poll since he was inaugurated and is down from 62 - 31 percent in a May 6 survey.

Obama's Katrina

The economy is shaping up to be Barack Obama's Katrina. If President George W. Bush was blamed for his slow response to Hurricane Katrina in 2005 -- there was plenty of blame to go around, of course, but the disaster was on Bush's watch--then Obama will get the blame for his slow response to the current recession. The difference, of course, is that Katrina afflicted a city and a few states, while the recession afflicts the whole country.

Americans are just now starting to come out of their slumber.

Republican Palin's multi-thousand dollar Paris Hilton type shopping spree was reported in the Republican owned and operated Politico.com.

alin wasn't planning on giving the clothes back until it shredded her fake 'average person' act.

The increasingly right wing Disney/ABCNews listed the Palin's worth at about a million dollars, which is far out of reach of the vast majority of Americans, suggesting otherwise explains your nasty, elitist, arrogant attitude, "Dennis".

But the Republican elite aren't average folk like the majority of US. Republicans turned their backs on regular Americans a loong time ago.

A 3,450-square-foot, four-bedroom, four-bath home is palatial to anyone not living in a delusional bubble, say, like someone who forgets how many houses they own.

Keep spinning your lies, "Dennis", it just shows how out of touch the right wing is.

Republican Sarah Palin charged the Republican Party (? or was it just Republican John McCain supporters) $150,000 dollars in clothing charges at expensive stores for her and her family in just a brief period of time.

The average American family doesn’t earn more than $50,000 dollars in a year. Republican Sarah Palin managed to blow more money on fancy clothes in a few short months than an average American family earns in three years.

Newsie, why is that you obsessively link to seven articles from out in left field on Ross Douthat, then make an untrue charege and not provide any link at all. I know the answer but how do you even sleep at night. Sarah Palin didn't just go on a shopping spree and charge all those clothes back to the RNC. Some staffer went out and bought them. And Palin gave all the clothes back after the campaign.

See why everyone here tells you what a piece of shit you are. And you do get this stuff from bizarre conspiracy theory places.

Google their finances before you go off spouting stupid shit off the top of your head. They both had businesses before. Todd was an industrious person, as was Sarah. They made decent money before she was mayor in combined salaries. The house isn't palatial by any stretch of the imagination. If you feel like it, look up their charitable contributions and compare their giving to both the Obamas and the Bidens if you want to be fair-minded about it.

And their net worth was reported at just over a million dollars...that was before the crash, so who knows where it is now. And they have a $500,000 legal tab to settle all the frivolous ethics charges. Why do you only read the crap and not the f'ing facts, dope?

A millin dollar net worth isn't rich, especially not when you have five kids. That might cover educational expenses for them, maybe. And their house as I've pointed out to you, is nothing 'palatial' for seven people to get around in.

This is just basic stuff, News Reference. You should be embarrassed, if only shame was something you could identify with.

Yes, a four month harangue and cross examination and the only thing you and CSS come up when I ask for an example of racism.

Then surely you'll agree that saying "the militant right-wing Michael "Savage" Wiener.

You didn't say anything though, Jaim. Where were you?

And I told you before, it's 'Leibowitz'.

I think when people go off quoting “wacko far left loon” bloggers, like Justin Raimondo, John Cole, Andrew Sullivan... to try and prove a point... well, it’s just plain wrong.

When I told you a couple days ago that you were Andrew Sullivan’s bitch, did you take me literally and Google ‘woof woof’ to find that blogger, Newsie?

My blog, Bark Bark Woof Woof, has been around since 2003, and I'm also a contributor to The Reaction and Shakesville.

But thanks for all the traffic.

"Can you give me another well thought out response to how you think Sarah and Todd Palin are grifters?"

Republican Sarah Palin was charging Alaskan taxpayers to fund her families vacations.

Republican Sarah Palin was charging Alaskan taxpayers to fund her and her families vacations both within the large state of Alaska but also to fund their vacation(s?) to New York (plane fare, food, and lodging for a big family is expensive [was it more than one vacation? and for how many days? I don't recall offhand]).

Republican Sarah Palin was charging Alaskan taxpayers a per diem to work out of her private home even while she had a nice public Governor's mansion that was also provided to her and her family at taxpayer expense.

I believe that was the substance of the most recent of the many ethics complaints filed against her. (And what was up with that tanning bed of hers?)

Republican Sarah Palin charged the Republican Party (? or was it just Republican John McCain supporters) $150,000 dollars in clothing charges at expensive stores for her and her family in just a brief period of time.

The average American family doesn't earn more than $50,000 dollars in a year. Republican Sarah Palin managed to blow more money on fancy clothes in a few short months than an average American family earns in three years.

That's just off the top of my head and doesn't include the unsubstantiated rumors that were circulated about how the Palin's built their 3,450-square-foot, four-bedroom, four-bath home on a Mayor's salary and a manual-laborer's alternating jobs. (Palin didn't keep the Governorship for very long, it will be interesting to see what perks she might walk away with for quitting.)

The Palin's were estimated at being worth a cool million last I read, pretty amazing, for a Gubmint worker and a manual laborer...

Nowhere men in nowhere land. You need to get a life and get away from the wacko far-left loon sites, News Reference. You’re a seriously deranged obsessive-compulsive lying creep

Oh, sweet, sweet irony. Someone has a pretty high opinion of themselves, don't they?

Denny, where is your blog?

Ross Douthat’s article dismantled.

How do you say his name?

Is it "dough hat" or "doubt that"?

Either way seems appropriate.

Alaska is the third smallest state by population.
47 other states are bigger.
Even more American cities are larger than Alaska.

It does lead the nation in date rape, however. And meth addiction. so there's that.
