Reminds me of the cigarette industry which knew for decades the health risks, particularly cancer, associated with their 'product,' and then claimed to be as shocked as the rest of the world when it was exposed that they knowingly suppressed the evidence which linked them to the myriad diseases they caused in their consumers. As long as these corporate behemoths can find a profit in it, they would sell heroin to infants if they could get away with it.
