The hard truth is that the GOP has no one to blame but itself for allowing the radical Neo-Con element of their party to sabotage their political credibility; the only way forward for them is to accept that their 8 year message of all things Bush = success has been a miserable failure, and that espousing a return to those woeful policies will not win them any new converts in the future. I for one, cannot wait to have them attempt to convince Americans and the world at large that Sarah Palin is their best hope for redefining their message, and providing a serious challenge for President Obama in 2012; the jokes will write themselves.
