John Zaubler Arrested For Threats To Obama, Sotomayor

A criminal complaint says 48-year-old John Zaubler called 911 Saturday and said he was going to kill Sotomayor by “blowing her up” because he did not want his girlfriend to go to federal prison.

The complaint also says he wanted to kill Obama by “blowing him up.”

Sketchy information on this guy, but on the surface he doesn’t sound like the Freeper-style guy the feds are on the hunt for.

    Offhand, a fellow who wanders the streets muttering to himself while wearing a black cape does not strike me as being a major-league threat. He seems to be right up there with the yahoos wearing white tuxedoes. Still, one never knows…

    Has anyone asked him how would blowing up Sotomayor stop his girlfriend from going to federal prison?

    I’m quite sure we wouldn’t get a good answer to that question, but we could get an interesting answer.
