Let’s not beat around the bush here folks.
The man who (allegedly) killed Dr. Tiller was a member of an Operation Rescue cell. Operation Rescue helped him to stalk Dr. Tiller. And now Jill Stanek (you’ll remember her from ads pushed by conservatives in the 2008 election) is working with Operation Rescue to publish the addresses and pictures of other doctors who perform abortions for their patients.
Lest you think this the fringe, Operation Rescue, Stanek, and other operatives appear quite regularly on the Fox News Channel.
’)
Mullah Terry has been arrested over 40 times but is a regular on Fox News
Rupert Murdoch’s FOX channel is a terrorist network.
I have heared if time and time again. But to avoid the bent logic I will boil it down.
“They can’t be terrorists!”
Why?
“Cuz they are white!”
Con logic at it’s finest!
I repeat: If we should be saying, “Not all Muslims are terrorists”, then we should be saying, “Not all anti-abortion activists are terrorists”, let alone “All those who oppose abortion are terrorists”.
The supposed connection between Operation Rescue and this killer wouldn’t stand up in a High School debating club, let alone a Court Room.
And calling the white supremacist movement a “right wing terrorist” group is only throwing fuel on the fire of divisiveness.
If this blog is representative of the left, you are playing a dangerous game.
If this blog is representative of the left, you are playing a dangerous game.
And if you are representative of right wing fruitcake blog commenters (i.e., modern Republicans), then your team is nuttier than I imagined. Somehow. Whoa.
Gotta love it when Republicans whine about political correctness.
Frank DiSalle,
“And calling the white supremacist movement a “right wing terrorist” group is only throwing fuel on the fire of divisiveness.”
That may be, but it is truth and to deny it is a lie.
To defend it makes one worse than those that they defend.
Peace Be With you.
And calling the white supremacist movement a “right wing terrorist” group is only throwing fuel on the fire of divisiveness.
But calling ACORN a “criminal enterprise,” well, that’s understandable.
ACORN was funded by Republican President Bush.
Quaker: I never called ACORN anything. Besides, calling ACORN a ‘criminal enterprise” , even it were true, does not imply anything at all about America’s liberals, as it would if you were to repeatedly refer to the “left wing criminal enterprise ACORN”, and then refer to the “left wing ADA”.
“Jaim”: “Gotta love it when Republicans whine about political correctness.”
Yeah, no kidding. Call the right wing out for what they are and suddenly the right wing is demanding that political correctness be the rule and they be treated with a courtesy that they’ve never treated anyone else with.
Right winger “Frank DiSalle” is an especially absurd caricature.
“Frank” has said some incredibly toxic things about his opponents but as soon as his own language is turned back on him he starts demanding courtesy.
Right Winger’s First Rule: Rules Are For Other People.
Frank- please tell me how OR (and frankly much of the forced Birth movement) differs from Sinn Fein- both are obstinably political but maintain connections to terrorists.
I repeat: If we should be saying, “Not all Muslims are terrorists”, then we should be saying, “Not all anti-abortion activists are terrorists”, let alone “All those who oppose abortion are terrorists”.
AGAIN! I pointed out earlier that the proper analogy to “Not all Muslims are terrorists” is “Not all Christians are terrorists”. Your 2nd statement is more along the lines of “Not all members of Hamas are terrorists”.
The supposed connection between Operation Rescue and this killer wouldn’t stand up in a High School debating club, let alone a Court Room.
Really? Because the connection gets more and more damningthe more we press.
And calling the white supremacist movement a “right wing terrorist” group is only throwing fuel on the fire of divisiveness.
What the hell do you care about “divisiveness”? Have you even read your earlier comments?
If this blog is representative of the left, you are playing a dangerous game.
No, we’re playing the most dangerous game.
“Zython” is my hero.
I repeat: If we should be saying, “Not all Muslims are terrorists”, then we should be saying, “Not all anti-abortion activists are terrorists”, let alone “All those who oppose abortion are terrorists”.
No, Frank. Not all. Just these here.
“Just these here”?
Huh?
Operation Rescue.
Operation rescue is a terrorist organization.
K?
Not everyone in Hamas commits acts of terror, so they’re not a terrorist organization, right Frank?
I have no idea what the level of participation of Hamas members might be, Parthenon. What I do know is that Operation Rescue has been in existence for what, more than 30 years? And they are associated with, but not necessarily responsible for, less than 2,000 injuries.
OR members couldn’t get entry level positions in Hamas.
And calling the white supremacist movement a “right wing terrorist” group is only throwing fuel on the fire of divisiveness.
Would that be the fire of burning crosses? Sorry, Frank, but the white supremacist movement is a right wing terrorist group. I’m not aware of any left wing white supremacist movements.
“associated with, but not necessarily responsible for”
Keep digging, Frank.
Ignobility : the operative word is “right wing”… There is nothing inherent in any conservative philosophy of which I am aware , from Ayn Rand to Marvin Olasky, that indicates that white supremacy is a valid belief …
Perhaps there are white supremacists that are registered Republicans , or in New York State , registered Conservatives .
That doesn’t make white supremacist thinking a part of conservative ideology , anymore than white supremacy is characterized by tall people , or people whose name ends in “er” or “gh’.
It is a foolish, inaccurate, divisive, and , as noted before , possibly dangerous descriptor .
and speaking of absurd labels : “the ‘forced birth’ movement” takes the cake .
You want to be sure you don’t have a baby?
Stop f*cking!
And they are associated with, but not necessarily responsible for, less than 2,000 injuries.
Slackers. They should try harder.
Duros, I must always take into account the “guilt by association” proclivities of the left, and Oliver in particular. He, and they, have learned the lessons of McCarthyism well.
I must always take into account the “guilt by association” proclivities of the left, and Oliver in particular.
Uh-huh.
William Ayers.
Right, Duros…
William Ayers was never really guilty of anything …
No, wait!
But Pres Obama wasn’t really associated with Ayers at all…
No, wait!
I think I’ve mentioned this before… but there’s no way that Frank’s a real person. No way. Someone so stupid couldn’t be intelligent enough to use a keyboard. This guy’s a plant and getting his jollies by impersonating the most ridiculous human being imaginable.
Congratulations, Frank! You got us! I hope you’ve had a good laugh.
William Ayers was never really guilty of anything …
Nope, don’t see him found guilty of a crime. Next.
“You want to be sure you don’t have a baby?
Stop f*cking!”
Especially if you’re a woman, right Frank? Fucking whores, spreading their legs because they ENJOY it. Isn’t that what you really mean, Frank?
You defend terrorists and murderers. Period.
Ivy NYC , I see being a woman hasn’t made you any wiser !
What I REALLY mean is what I REALLY said.
Abortion is really sloppy birth control.
Abortion is really sloppy birth control.
And so what?
Abortion is really sloppy birth control.
Of course, your side ALSO opposes all forms of birth control, from Plan B to condoms. Hell, you guys have also fought against a cancer vaccine.
Here’s a nifty article. Focus on the Family: Religious right organization, or violent drug cartel?
Ah, Frank. There’s nothing more pathetic than a man afraid of sex.
