========================
23 Senators votes against stupid:
21 Democratic Leaders.
1 Republican Leader.
1 Independent Leader.
========================
And if I’ve got the right roll call, 133 Representatives voted against Republican Bush’s Iraq War Lie.
133 Representatives votes against stupid:
126 Democratic Leaders.
6 Republican Leader.
1 Independent Leader.
========================
The record is important.
A lot of Democratic leaders rejected the Republican’s Iraq War Lie.
And in the House of Representatives, it was a MAJORITY of Democratic leaders who rejected the Republican’s Iraq War Lie.
For the record.
“1 Independent leader.”
Time for “Newsy” to get a little schooling in logic.
For one to be a “leader,” one must have someone to lead.
The independent in question has NO colleagues, and has rejected any party affiliation. (Kind of like me, but in a mirror image sort of way.)
So, who the hell is this Independent “leading?”
Oh, and for some math: 23 Senators voted against it. 77 voted in favor of it. 77 is considerably larger than 23.
In the House, it was a big closer. 297 voted for it. 133 voted against it. 297 is more than two times bigger than 133.
More than two thirds of the House, more than three-quarters of the Senate.

Oh, and on the actual topic: the Millenials always seemed, to me, a good counterpart for the “ZOMG GLOBAL WARMENING IS GONNA KILL US ALL TOMORROW!!!” nutjobs. But at least the Millenials are honest about their belief being purely religious, and not based on scientific principles.

Shorter Jay: My party is fucked.
Longer Jaim: “Jay Tea says he’s an independent, but I’m going to keep declaring him a Republican, and then dump on him for what they do!”
How cute, Jaim. How precious. (Pat on head) You’ve picked up on the Media Masters strategy (handed to them by Rahm Emanuel, James Carville, Paul Begala, and George Stephanopolous) of declaring Rush Limbaugh the leader of the GOP, and adapted it here. It’s so adorable. Kind of like that first doody you unloaded in the potty chair.

Right winger “Jay Tea”: “So, who the hell is this Independent “leading?””
Presumably the electorate that voted to have the “Independent” represent them.
If right winger “Jay Tea” wasn’t so reflexively against America’s democratic republic perhaps he could have figured that out for himself without looking stupid by jumping to a dumb conclusion.
I’M against the democratic republic, “Newsy?” You’re the one touting the side that lost the vote on the war by a frakking landslide.
And if it’s so unpopular, “Newsy,” why haven’t they tried repealing that authorization? They got the numbers now. Hell, they don’t even have the testicular fortitude to fund the money to shut down Guantanamo.
The independents are NOT leaders within Congress, “Newsy.” No matter how much you want to fellate them for being on the losing side seven years ago.
J.
Right winger “Jay Tea” manages to include in his attempt at an attack the words “testicular” and “fellate”.
If someone doesn’t have testes have you always lost interest, “Jay Tea”?
And how long have you had an obsession with fellating?
“Jay Tea” is apparently a classic right wing tea bagger.
Nonetheless, “Jay Tea’s” questions about his sexuality aren’t relevant to the argument and are things he should probably take the time to figure out for himself.
————————
And which part of basic reading comprehension did “Jay Tea” fail?
“Independents” are elected to represent their constituencies.
In our democratic republic those constituencies elected those “Independents” to be their leaders to represent them.
Moreover, my point was that while the majority voted for the Republican’s Iraq War Lie, the majority of Democratic leaders in Congress voted against it.
The lesson is that more good Democratic leaders need to be elected to minimize the country from doing the stupid things that right wingers and the Republican Party are bent on doing.
Jay Tea isn’t a Republican.
And I voted for Sarah Palin.
Show me a voter registration slip, Jaim, that says I’m a Republican.
The last one I saw — the one I signed — said “independent.”
And good call on voting for Palin. How could she have been worse than Biden?
