Grandjester: "Two Words: Jack Fucking Cafferty.
He’d chew up those beltway marshmellows."

That would be funny as hell to watch.

Would the Fox "News" Channel try to make hay out of a picture of a supposedly unbiased reporter and moderator partying with James Carville or David Axelrod? Is water wet?

YAWG (Yet Another White Guy) is alive and well with the MSM.

I read that Dylan Ratihan, formally of CMBC fame, is going to take the time spot after Rachael on MSNBC.

You would think there might someone who is not YAWG to be found in the universe that has a brain and can talk.

Then of course there are more conservative black commentators on TV than there are proportionally in the black community.

This is how you fashion the news to your beliefs.

Maybe it's karma. Replacing Republican Dick Cheney's mouthpiece Tim Russert with Republican Karl Rove's dance partner David Gregory was a serious race for the bottom for NBC.

I've seen a video clip of David Gregory 'getting down' to Hilary Duff when she was a musical guest. (Not on Meet the Press, obviously.) That should have precluded him from being the new host.

"A moderator and a panel of journalists asking a single guest questions. I would like to see the show get back to that."

You mean the press doing their goddamn jobs? Never work.

Can't type today.

Eric Alterman called Tim Russert (whom he seemed to like) the Great Collator, and Gregory seems to be continuing the tradition, as does This Week. Here's a sample of pre-selected media excerpts I’ve decided to work into a spontaneous conversation. Meet the Press used to be what the titlw implies. A moderator and a panel of journalists asking a single guest questions. I would like to see the show get back to that.
