That’s the only possible explanation for why Cheney is now inserting himself in the debate over Employee Free Choice. Dick Cheney is not a popular person. He’s one of the few vice presidents to be less popular than the president he served with. And yet, he has a higher profile now than he has had over the last 8 years.
