Dick Cheney And I Agree!

He urges the Republican party not to moderate. I concur. I further urge the GOP to keep taking political advice from Dick Cheney. Because we all know the kind of widespread support Dick Cheney has with the American people.

I also endorse this adoption by the GOP of the principles of homeopathy: as they become lower and lower in concentration in comparison to the population of voters, surely the stronger and more effective they will become.

Dick Cheney is a monster (in the worst sense). Fuck him.

  3. MrGreyGhost says:

Yeah, instead of former VP Cheney, the GOP should listen to liberals about what to do with their future because everyone knows the Left is always looking out for the Right’s best interests.

“continue to hate people like my daughter”-Richard Bruce Cheney

“Yeah, instead of former VP Cheney, the GOP should listen to liberals…”

This in reply to a comment by a LIBERAL blogger IN AGREEMENT with Dick Cheney about something. Good grief.

  6. SpiderJ says:

Ghost – The GOP isn’t even listening to actual conservatives anymore. They’re just listening to the court jesters.

This made me laugh out loud. First, as noted, our esteemed host is telling the Repugs to do exactly as Cheney says. Second, I’ll never forget the hundreds of times that oh-so-serious Republican strategists told Dems what to do between 2001 and 2006 (and this includes the majority of “moderate” pundits from Broder and Russert on down who were actually Republicans but wouldn’t admit it).

“Mr. Democratic Politician, the Republicans are suggesting that maybe your party should stop hating America and having butt-sex with aborted fetuses before you will ever return to power. Do you agree, or are you destined to never win the presidency or a majority in Congress ever again?”

Well, I’m exaggerating. But only a little.

So get used to it, Mr. Grey Ghost. Your party is dying, and lots of folks are going to offer you suggestions on how to make your proverbial corpse stink less.

Dick Cheney is a war criminal.
If we as a country would be honest with ourselves he would be prosecuted.

The fact that the republicans will not support this shows how disgusting they are. Withing 40 years they have given us
Nixon-Watergate, Regan- Iran Contra and now GW and Cheney- torture against the Geneva Convention.

the right has gone so far right that they have circumnavigated to the furthest left. How conservativeis it to believe in gods and devils that are jsut fairytales. It is not the republican party,it the christian religion party. There agenda is to use the earth up for their pleasure till jesus gets back cause they do not care what happens to who is left behind, while their spirits rest on thrones in masions on gold street ,like if spirits existed that shit would even matter.

As a life long Democrat, I am enjoying the downward spiral of the GOP. But, on the other hand, I don’t trust any politician even Democrats. So the loss of any credible oversite of these jokers makes me nervous. We all need to redouble our efforts to hold these politicians accountable for their actions.

The sooner the GOP is gone, the sooner the Blue dogs can bolt the party and we can get down to fighting them.

It’s pretty clear that some Democrats will vote for Genghis Khan is he has a D next to his name, and will slander viciously anyone unwilling to do so.

  12. justadood says:

    soullite– projection much?

Dems are no angels, but take a look at the shrill being aired and printed, and those behind the words: seems they have ‘(R)’ behind the names.

It’s past time to just get over the fact that a BLACK MAN is president, and that he’ll remain there for another 3+ years (more, as long as Banana Republicans listen to the Dick and continue marginalizing themselves). The good ol’ days of Hoover and Jim Crow aren’t coming back…oh well….

Well, he was a pretty effective ass kicker.

  14. Master Mahan says:

Go on, listen to Cheney. He’s done so much to strengthen the GOP so far, right?

As for Genghis, it’s hard to say where he’d fall. Sure, he was big on defense spending and an enthusiastic death penalty supporter, but on the other hand he saw nothing wrong with being Muslim. I can’t see him groveling before Rush either.

MrGreyGhost: Yeah, instead of former VP Cheney, the GOP should listen to liberals about what to do with their future because everyone knows the Left is always looking out for the Right’s best interests.

The problem is, Cheney and the Right are looking out for (what they believe to be) the Right’s best interests. Leaders on the left certainly do their share of “what’s in it for me” but at least they seem to recognition of the idea that they’re supposed to be looking out the the COUNTRY’S best interests. The Right and Cheney do not.

  16. buma says:

Maybe the GOP logo should reflect the status quo. Switching from elephant to mammoth, for example.
