The Current State Of Intellectual Conversation On The Right

Yes. Yes, he is demanding that we take back the Panama Canal. Yes.

This one? This one is a bonus:

Lest you think that pushing Sean Hannity and the program he hosts as intellectualism is some kind of liberal invention George Soros gave to me this morning, look no further than the Heritage Foundation’s own website.

Bill Cunningham talks like klansman Daniel Carver from Howard Stern

Jeez, Hannity and his nonsensical guest came close to exploding republican (brain?) matter all over the place. Sadly, it would only have spread stupid.

How did these people control our discourse?

  4. You might just as well ask the cat as any of these fuckwits.

I know. If only the worst thing about the majority of the Republican party was that they only said a regrettable thing once every couple of months.

Sadly it’s hard to find time for saying simply regrettable things when they’re spending so much time outright lying or shouting to defend those lies.

Well, the Obama Administration only lets the Vice President off his leash every couple months.

Is the “undisclosed location” for storing the VP yet another Bush Administration policy the Obama Administration decided to keep? /sarc

So since nobody’s commenting on the actual post, I take it none of our conservative friends agree that we should take back the Panama Canal. That’s good, at least.

And you’re basing this off of what evidence, exactly?

My guess is nothing, but if this isn’t just something else pulled out of the ether you can feel free to back yourself up.

Or keep make not funny jokes. That’s always an option.

Parthenon…I think our conservative colleagues are trying to ignore the Panama Canal statement like they’re trying to forget that John McCain was born there, making his birth cert/location of birth somewhat more questionable than that of our President’s (who was born in a State Capital, no less, as compared to a military base in a foreign country)

You know, conservatives talk about how Fox News gets okay ratings in the States so it must be doing something right and that CNN must be jealous, etc.

But CNN has a worldwide network that is watched in nearly every country. Fox News is available over here but I don’t know of anyone who respects or watches it. Murdoch may have managed to get a news network that is watched a bit in the states but has so thoroughly discredited the NewsCorp empire and his own name abroad that I would mark it all down as a loss.
