For the record, I don’t hold any position of public responsibility and trust, have never sought any such, and have no interest in such. I like working in the private sector, where I can actually achieve things.

Now he’s a highly-respected legislator who was nearly named to head the Intelligence Committee by Speaker Pelosi before enough responsible Congress members protested.

fafaroo, a better term would have been “overtaken by events.” It was on Obama’s plant to keep Chrysler out of bankruptcy. A couple of hours after I wrote it, and shortly after it was published, Chrysler filed for bankruptcy.
