Hey look, another Democrat won an election over a rightroots candidate.

The three week battle between Republican Jim Tedisco and Democrat Scott Murphy over a New York congressional district is heading to court today.

With all but the contested ballots counted, Murphy holds a 273-vote lead over Tedisco for the Albany-area U.S. House seat formerly held by Democratic Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand.

There are more than 1,500 disputed ballots—the majority of which challenged by the Tedisco campaign—further signaling an advantage for a Democratic victory.

What I want to see is Mike Steele eating crow because he came out the day after the election with a statement claiming the GOP went toe to toe with the “Democratic Machine”. I think he should have just stayed as a 15 minute flack on FoxNews

  3. Enlightened Liberal says:

Now why on earth David Patterson appointed a Dem from a swing district for Senate I’ll never know.

JR, I’ve long been an admirer of your comments, but that one had me LOL.
