LOL…and he would’ve gotten away with it too, if it weren’t for you meddling libs and your blogs.
You don’t understand: Being that wrong means Mr. Gingrich is serious and will be invited back for more appearances on this an other major network and cable yakfest shows.

Exactly. If the ‘interviewers’ were good at their jobs, they would call these people on their crap on air. Or call them on it the next week after they’ve done some research, and then ask them about the next time they come on their show.

Exactly. “But we didn’t rush over, smile and greet Russian dictators” calls for an immediate “Roll 212!” (6:00 mark)
Is there anyone in the Republican party who isn’t an idiot?
Jaim: “Is there anyone in the Republican party who isn’t an idiot?”
Meghan McCain might be the smartest one among them. No wonder Laura Ingraham is attacking her.
“Is there anyone in the Republican party who isn’t an idiot?”
Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins and Arlen Spector all have their non-idiot moments.
Yeah, but Specter’s not going to win the Republican nomination. And he might even switch to being a Dem.
Point taken, however.
“Is there anyone in the Republican party who isn’t an idiot?”
Rove. Anyone who could keep this collection of dimwits on message is some sort of genius. It must have been like herding lobotomized ferrets.
“Yeah, but Specter’s not going to win the Republican nomination.”
Good. For a number of reasons, a Democrat would have a much better shot at beating Toomey than Specter in the 2010 general.
calling all toasters: Rove. Anyone who could keep this collection of dimwits on message is some sort of genius. It must have been like herding lobotomized ferrets.
On the contrary. When dealing with those incapable of thinking for themselves getting them to endlessly regurgitate the only thing they’ve been told is child’s play.
This reminds me of one of the inestimable Bill Whittle’s recent perorations, in which he states proudly (among other things), that after WWII, the peace-loving non-imperialist Americans promptly demilitarized and ‘went home’.
Uh, WHAT? Tell that to the folks on Okinawa, around Subic Bay, anywhere in West Germany, et cetera. I once asked a Young Republican type at university why we have U.S. military bases in other countries, and no other countries have military bases here, and he made that face dogs make when they hear a noise they can’t identify.
What? Newt Gingrich is a fatuous, lying GOP blowhard, incapable of accepting reality?
Who knew?
