” … because you’re just going to go around sitting on disabled people”
I always feel uncomfortable making fun of religion, people believe whatever makes them feel better.
merl: people believe whatever makes them feel better.
Unfortunately, what often makes people feel better is controlling other people and/or lording their
moral superiorityhypocrisy over other people.Organized religion deserves to be made fun of.
Yeah, sean, i forgot about that. I have a cousin with 3 children born out of wedlock and maybe 2 divorces by now.
I have no illegitamate children and the same wife I married the first time and I’m going to hell for being a “liberal” or something.
“because you’re just going to go around sitting on disabled people”
Spitting, dude.
RE: I always feel uncomfortable making fun of religion
It’s like, when you are ten-years-old and your tell the eight-year-old kid next door that Santa is just make-believe (i.e., your ‘rents bought those gifts). The neighbor kid starts crying and runs home. He tells his mother and she calls your mother. You get yelled at for being a bully; maybe get sent to your room as punishment. They might even make you apologize to the neighbor kid and tell him you’re sorry for saying there isn’t a Santa and making him cry.
The video makes the point that Jesus did not reveal potentially life-saving medical information, while deriding the distinctions of clean and unclean foods as arbitrary. Yet studies have shown that avoiding biblically unclean foods contributes to a longer, healthier life.
