But, man, if there's any country that has a right to complain about our meddlesome ways, it's Nicaragua. And if there's any country that has every reason to doubt we'll ever change, it's Nicaragua. From William Walker in the 1850s to the Contras in the 1980s, we've made it clear over and over that we're happy to stomp on Nicaragua's sovereignty in the name of American business interests. If there never are any investigations then the only question will be who from Bush 43s administration will end up f*cking up the country in a future Republican administration.
