And there’s that ubiquitous ~30% saying that they think Texas should have the right to secede if they wanted to.
It’s just emotional hyperbole, people reacting to things they don’t like and feel they have no control over. Like Americans saying they want to see their own President charged with war crimes.
Finally. We may finally be rid of Texas. What took so long?
Texas is staying part of the United States. Period.
But those 30% of Texans who don’t like America they are welcome to move to Mexico.
In fact, that 30% is encouraged to leave America as soon as possible.
Those 30% might want to take a gander at Alaska…pleanty of room up there too.

Buzz, I don’t like some of Obama’s policies. In fact, there is a growing list of Republican President Bush era policies that Obama is continuing that I really, really don’t like.
For instance, I feel there should be a vigorous investigation of war crimes allegations.
More to the point, I feel that there is already enough evidence of multiple acts of torture to support the prosecution for war crimes Republican President Bush and his enablers Cheney, Bybee, Yoo/a>, and at least a half dozen more of Bush’s inner circle.
But this isn’t even about those people, it’s about whether some future President believes they can get away with war crimes and torture.
Someone needs to stand up and say, “never again.”
What Republican President Bush and his followers did were to commit multiple unlawful and sadistic acts, there needs to be some accountability or this will happen again in the future.
Which is exactly why the right wing and the Republican Party are fighting so hard against this: ‘conservatism’ has become synonymous with unlawful and sadistic acts and prosecutions would prohibit them from committing war crimes in the future.
Which is exactly why the need to be prosecuted, so that it doesn’t ‘happen again.’
