everytime I see Sarah Palin, I think of all the Americans who squealed with delight “She’s just like us” during the last election cycle.
No matter what she does, there are so many Americans convinced that her unsophisticated and corrupt self (http://www.themudflats.net/2009/04/10/democrats-reject-palins-senate-pick/)is preferable to an 1/2 black President.
Yes we dodged a bullet but with so many Americans who prefer affinity to truth…will they ever admit that she’s sincerely unworthy to be POTUS?
Gee, notstar, I thought Palin was matched up against Joe Biden, not Obama.
J.
Hey, Oliver, here’s a ratings blockbuster: Jerry Springer with Obama’s illegal alien aunt and poverty-stricken half-brother. Give them half the show you’d like for Palin’s family woes, and we’re talking GOLD!
J.
Tobacco Road North.
Gee, notstar, I thought Palin was matched up against Joe Biden, not Obama.
Gee Jay Tea, that really changes everything!
Keep on flailing though. Keep defending your increasingly embarrassing team. Go down with the ship. (And what have you.)
Obama’s illegal alien aunt and poverty-stricken half-brother.
Oh, you’re so right Jay Tea! Poverty is fucking hilarious. Thanks for more awesome Republican equivalence. And Obama’s aunt, was she up for Vice President? I can’t remember.
No, she wasn’t, ed. Neither was Bristol Palin, as I recall — a bit of a complication involving her being 20 years too young to run for the office.
J.
Palin’s still hot. don’t care what anyone says.
Eww.
What Jay Tea nor any other Sarah Palin endorsers will acknowledge is that SHE is the one who is acting like trailer trash. Why in the world is she trying to get her ex brother in law fired and talking him down in front of his kids? Why would she then further as a VP candidate call the father of her sister’s kids all kinds of names and trying to turn public opinion against him just to win political points? Why would she be trying to incite violence aimed at a presidential candidate? Why would she have a public flame war with the father of her grandson? Its because she doesn’t have any class thats why. She doesn’t know when to just shut the fuck up and let the story die. No she always HAS to have the last word. Oh and Jay Tea how do you explain Sarah Palin’s spokesman calling her grandson a “mistake”? If a Democrat said that the pro lifers would be knocking down doors and caling them all kinds of pro abortionists. But since it came from Sarah Palin’s shop then we all must have misunderstood what she meant right?
She is just like every other white trash hillbilly, she gets a little taste of the spotlight and she wants to keep it on her no matter what. Even if it means parading her daughter on FoxNews with her infant son to try to answer questions about why she had unprotected sex when her mom believes in abstinence. Thats the epitome of the Jerry Springer mentality and the sooner you see her for what she is the sooner you will realize that you are doing us the biggest favor by continuinig to make excuses for her. Hell I say have at it, thats just going to ensure that President Obama is a two term President.
No, she wasn’t, ed. Neither was Bristol Palin, as I recall — a bit of a complication involving her being 20 years too young to run for the office.
I must have missed the part where someone suggested she was. But keep those equivalencies coming! And keep on thinking that poverty is hilarious. That’s Xtra Klassy!
Stuck on Stupid ed: “But keep those equivalencies coming! And keep on thinking that poverty is hilarious.”
Here’s your moral equivalency, Mister ed:
Hillary Clinton: Piracy is Funny
Hilarious, right? Xtra Klassy?
To Mister ed, only if you’re a Republican.
You know it would also help if Sarah Palin wasn’t the world’s biggest liar and flip flopper. I swear this woman must think everybody is just as dumb as she is.
http://thinkprogress.org/2009/04/11/palin-begich-resign/
Kinda ironic that I clicked on Dennis’ link and this is what I found.
Kinda sums up the substance of most Republican arguments doesn’t it?
Have to say, I’m not the biggest fan of this talking about people’s families. Sully’s Trig Palin fixation, for instance, was not his proudest moment.
What Jay Tea nor any other Sarah Palin endorsers will acknowledge is that SHE is the one who is acting like trailer trash.

He still is, Parthy. He’s hoping Levi Johnston can be the key to his salvation to his Trig Truther nuttiness, that maybe he’ll spill the beans.
sgwhiteinfla: when Dennis writes, “Ignore the topic! Look over there!” you’re best bet is to not to look over there. Dennis is, after all, the guy who thinks that racist asshole Rush Limbaugh is awesome, and that Jon Stewart is an Elitist Jewy Jew Jew Jew. Dennis is the very essence of the modern Republican party.

Oh, burn, sgwhite. How devastating.
Clinton laughs at piracy
Gee, Jay, if Sarah Palin doesn’t matter why is her photo plastered all over Hotair.com every time I put on my waders and look over the site?
Oh, and Jay? Exit question. Who’s the Right’s favorite candidate for President in 2012 right now? Kthxbai!
ed
What I have found is that wingnuts generally link to shit that does nothing to further their argument banking on nobody clicking the link. So usually I go to the link just to bring it home that they are doing just what you alluded to, trying to change the subject. Thats common of the trolls on most left leaning threads. We say “Glenn Beck is crazy and dangerous” they say “But what about Jon Stewart” who has never tried to incite anyone to violence. They know they can’t really debate over whether or not Beck is bat shit crazy so they try to bring the conversation to a platform that they think they have more room to debate. It truly is the hallmark of the modern Repubican Party from the wingnut trolls on blogs to members of Congress. President Obama says “Lets fix healthcare” Republicans in Congress say “But what about all that money that we just made up and pulled out of our asses that everybody is going to have to pay in a cap and trade tax to pay for fixing healthcare” Too bad for them the populous isn’t buying it anymore.
I guess in Jay Tea’s world, everyone is responsible for their half-brother or aunt even if they’ve never met them.. It’s exactly like your daughter, who lives under your own roof. Frankly, the only purpose to reminding anyone about the Palin’s is to point out how completely bankrupt the GOP was to try to place someone so incompetent a faint heartbeat away from the presidency.
No link? Good job, Dennis 404.
So usually I go to the link just to bring it home that they are doing just what you alluded to, trying to change the subject.
I can dig it (and appreciate it). You’re a braver soul than I.
We say “Glenn Beck is crazy and dangerous” they say “But what about Jon Stewart”
To be fair, sometimes they answer, “But what about John Leibowitz!” for no apparent reason (and yet we all know why).
Dennis is, after all, the guy who thinks that racist asshole Rush Limbaugh is awesome, and that Jon Stewart is an Elitist Jewy Jew Jew Jew. Dennis is the very essence of the modern Republican party. –ed
You’re the King of Look Over There, Ed. The King. Rush Limbaugh to you is on-topic and noteworthy no matter what the subject.
And no one ever said anything here about Jon Stewart being an Elitist Jew till you did. That’s anti-Semitism on your part, Ed, projecting views you obviously hold on someone else. Why else bring it up? Strange that.
Dennis
Is that your best argument for Sarah Palin, “I know you are but what am I”? Seriously? Pee Wee Herman should sue the GOP for ripping off his act. Do you even understand the context of Sec Clinton’s laughter? That we destroyed piracy off the coast of Morocco back in the days when they still wore eye patches and had a skull and crossbones on their flag? And how pray tell does this come close to matching up to Sarah Palin calling her grandson’s father, a guy SHE promoted and brought on the campaign trail, a liar, a bad father and a bum? Or that her spokesperson called Sarah Palin’s grandson a “mistake”? Those
pro marriageanti gay marriage Republicans must be so proud….Jay Tea…
since Palin’s running mate refused to release his medical records beyond having news media look at the records on the Friday before Memorial Day and forbading them from making copies, Palin’s capabilities to step in if anything should happen to McCain was relevant.
And furthermore, the point remains she wasn’t qualified for either job.
I know that’s me reviewing the facts and not acting on emotion but that’s how I roll.
Frankly, the only purpose to reminding anyone about the Palin’s is to point out how completely bankrupt the GOP was to try to place someone so incompetent a faint heartbeat away from the presidency.
Oh, and also. Party of Family Values. Too.
Also — this Governor consistently showcases her incompetence in running Alaska (see The Mudflats blog), why isn’t that considered a negative in being considered for a promotion?
She’s incompetent and yet people still feel she’s the best person to run the country.
Sweet Jesus.
What is in the water that she is considered the best the GOP can do?
And furthermore, the point remains she wasn’t qualified for either job. –Star Jones
She was just as qualified as Silky John Edwards was in 2004, Star, and conservatives, their blogs, and the MSM media stopped obsessing over him the day after the election, unlike the fetish-like bizarreness you folks partake in with her now a full six months hence.
You mean to tell me that an uneducated hayseed from Alaska who didn’t know where Russia was and whose major accomplishment was being an, at best, mediocre Governor with limited powers was not as qualified as a former US Senator with multiple degrees who was one of the top trial lawyers before getting into politics?
Damn… those are some serious minerals in your drinking water… perhaps you should ask the government to clean it up before the lead affects your reasoning skills.
She (Palin) was just as qualified as Silky John Edwards was in 2004
Yeah, because in Dennis’ world, accomplished lawyer and 6 year senator < beauty contestant, multiple dropout, failed TV journalist, small town mayor, 18 month governor. Never mind that Palin couldn’t put words together in a reasonably coherent fashion and was a case-study in poor public relations/communication. I’m sure she grasped complex public policies.
Unless, oh crap, Dennis thought it was John Edward? That would explain a lot. And he is pretty silky..
Never mind that Palin couldn’t put words together in a reasonably coherent fashion and was a case-study in poor public relations/communication. I’m sure she grasped complex public policies. Krusty
Yeah, ok, and what liberal politicians do we call low class, Jerry Springer show trailer park trash, Krusty? We didn’t call John Edwards that even after he became far more deserving of it than Sarah Palin and her family does.
Yeah, ok, and what liberal politicians do we call low class, Jerry Springer show trailer park trash, Krusty? We didn’t call John Edwards that even after he became far more deserving of it than Sarah Palin and her family does.
Wow, way to change the subject. I didn’t say Edwards has class, unlike Oliver, I don’t really care about class, I care about competence. And I’m just thoroughly amused that anyone (even you) would compare Palin’s qualifications favorably with anyone who’s ever run for vice president (including Edwards or Quayle, who although in many ways ill-equipped, was a shining star next to Palin). Her main qualification is that she gives wingers like yo mama “starbursts”, which I think translates into “a stiffie”.
Krusty, WTF? It’s pointless to argue about her qualifications for VP right now. My point is it’s horrible, bizarre even, for Dems to be delighted in her family situation with her daughter when it has no relevance to what’s going on right now, and it’s even worse to be calling her trailer trash and her family low-lifes.
And really, Krusty, the unfailing adoration here for Obama from the male posters and blogger, “stiffie’ is not something I’d be chiding another guy for having from Sarah Palin.
Not till the blood rushing to yours stops at least, anyway.
My point is it’s horrible, bizarre even, for Dems to be delighted in her family situation with her daughter when it has no relevance to what’s going on right now, and it’s even worse to be calling her trailer trash and her family low-lifes.
I would be happy to completely ignore her if she weren’t considered, by many, to be a serious candidate for 2012. To use your own comparison, if John Edwards were talking about 2012, I’d expect his personal pitfalls to be a continuing issue, since he has largely dropped out of the public eye and claimed to be done with politics, they are not. Besides, my comment was just to refute this garbage:
She was just as qualified as Silky John Edwards was in 2004
Additionally:
And really, Krusty, the unfailing adoration here for Obama from the male posters and blogger, “stiffie’ is not something I’d be chiding another guy for having from Sarah Palin.
Not till the blood rushing to yours stops at least, anyway.
Oh noes, Dennis pulled “teh gay” card. Whatever will I do? Talk about an absurd non sequitir.. Next thing you know, you’ll tell the other middle schoolers I have cooties, and then I’ll be shamed forever.
My point is it’s horrible, bizarre even, for Dems to be delighted in her family situation with her daughter when it has no relevance to what’s going on right now, and it’s even worse to be calling her trailer trash and her family low-lifes.
By and large, I’m with you, amigo. Where this is coming from, though, is the GOP’s insistence on pretensions of the moral high horse when many of their own members have dysfunctional personal situations.
I’m all for keeping out of everyone’s personal/family life, but viewed through the context of the hypocrisy it’s more understandable. Unfortunate, but more understandable.
Where this is coming from, though, is the GOP’s insistence on pretensions of the moral high horse when many of their own members have dysfunctional personal situations. Parthenon
But you see, Parthy, that’s always the Left’s excuse, that it’s really the hypocrisy that’s at the root of why they go after the personal lives of people on the right. It’s always about the hypocrisy, when really it’s about the embarrassment. That and the obsession the public has for politicians’ personal lives.
Oh noes, Dennis pulled “teh gay” card. Krusty
Oh, Jesus Christ. All right, I’ll apologize if you were offended. I don’t care if you or anyone here is gay, just that you brought up the “stiffie’ issue about yo mama having for Palin, and a lot of posters here have a bigger one for Obama.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that; it’s just that the stiffie part is true, figuratively speaking.
(Psst, Republicans. Your Base is showing.)
I would be happy to completely ignore her if she weren’t considered, by many, to be a serious candidate for 2012. Krusty
John Edwards WAS considered, by many shortly after the 2004 election, to be a serious candidate for 2008, a likely frontrunner, in fact. No one obsessed about him anywhere close to how they are with Palin. No one brought up his family, either. His wife or his kids, to my knowledge.
(Psst, Republicans. Your Base is showing.) ed
Ed, you are not alone. I always thought you were somewhat strangely unique.
You’ve been archetyped as ‘The Relentless Pol’.
(Posters who can’t join any discussion without immediately using it to make a political point, i.e., “The current lack of sunspots is the direct result of the Bush administration’s failed policies.” aka, Rush Limbaugh is a racist idiot.)
What Type of Web Commenter Are You?
John Edwards WAS considered, by many shortly after the 2004 election, to be a serious candidate for 2008, a likely frontrunner, in fact.
Yes, but was Edwards bringing the near-daily insane like Palin? His affair had not yet begun (or was completely unknown), his family, while far from perfect, wasn’t nearly the soap opera of Palin’s. Between her personal/family issues (which I would honestly prefer to avoid, but which she and her spokespeople will not let rest) and her bizarre political statements, she’s a pretty unique case. I’m just sad that she’s not the spokesperson for the “Tea Bag” campaign. It’d be a perfect storm of comedy.
Gee, notstar, I thought Palin was matched up against Joe Biden, not Obama.
Kinda reminds me how the NYT tried to get Bristol fired from her job because she wouldn’t put out. Oh wait…
Dennis: “But you see, Parthy, that’s always the Left’s excuse, that it’s really the hypocrisy that’s at the root of why they go after the personal lives of people on the right. It’s always about the hypocrisy, when really it’s about the embarrassment.”
How do you know that it’s about the embarrassment, and not the hypocrisy? I’d love to see how you’re able to defend that statement, other than saying that it’s your own opinion and not necessarily rooted in reality at all.
Personally, for me, hypocrisy is something that is absolutely repugnant and delicious at the same time. Larry Craig supporting anti-gay policies and then gets caught soliciting gay sex in a bathroom. Mitch McConnell blasting the Dems for wasteful spending while having $75 million dollars in earmarks for his state. Republicans blasting Obama and the Democrats for inflating deficits and spending too much when Bush ran roughshod over the economy with spending for the last 8 years, while they happily clapped along. Republicans touting themselves as the party of family values, then falling over themselves supporting Palin and her unwed teenaged pregnant daughter.
The hypocrisy kills me. It really does.
“Republicans touting themselves as the part of family values, then failing over themselves supporting Palin and her unwed teenage pregnant daughter.”
Not mention all the Republicans and conservatives who criticize women with small children who work outside of the home, yet had no problem with Palin agreeing to be a VP nominee even though she had a small child.
aka, Rush Limbaugh is a racist idiot.
So you at least agree that Rush Limbaugh is a racist idiot…er…asshole. Glad you cleared that up. I guess you continue to defend him because he’s you’re a [modern] Republican. Did you ever ask your Black Friend what they think about Rush Limbaugh?
Posters who can’t join any discussion without immediately using it to make a political point
Huh. Are you somehow suggesting that you are an entirely non-partisan creature, instead of the very essence of the modern Republican party, a Dittohead, a Fox News talking point, Steven Colbert sans ironic parody? Really?
Really?
And no one ever said anything here about Jon Stewart being an Elitist Jew till you did.
Speaking of hypocrisy, a reminder
So if I someone had said something like, the filthy Jon Stewart, you’d be just as judgmental? Would that be worse, better, or about the same as calling him by his real name?
Anyone else hear a beeping noise?
Never mind, just our Dennis backing up.
As you were.
Dennis, “Jon Stewart” is his real name. He had it legally changed years ago.
Dennis…
What is the connection between John Edwards and Sarah Palin’s continued incompetence as governor of Alaska?
The woman mocked fruit fly research that could help determine the cause of Down’s Syndrome in a policy speech about how she wanted to be a voice of support for families with Down’s Syndrome & special needs kids.
http://www.sciam.com/blog/60-second-science/post.cfm?id=palin-takes-on-fruit-flies–and-los-2008-10-27
Please explain to me how someone who is that dumb/willfully clueless remains qualified to be VP or President in your world.
Come on. Obviously, he changed it to hide his Jewy Jewy Jewness and Dennis does _not_ stand for that. Just like when conservatives mentioned Barack _HUSSEIN_ Obama every time they could.
Also, people did obsess over Edward’s personal life as much as any other possible POTUS candidate in the leadup to 2008. It’s just that his family wasn’t clownshoes crazy so ya’ know, there wasn’t a new story every five seconds.
Anyone else hear a beeping noise?
Never mind, just our Dennis backing up. — Mister ed
I’m not backing up. Why don’t you answer the question?
Simple question, ed. Go ahead. Don’t be chicken.
Jesse EWwiak:
Come on. Obviously, he changed it to hide his Jewy Jewy Jewness and Dennis does _not_ stand for that. Not true. Never has been.
Just like when conservatives mentioned Barack _HUSSEIN_ Obama every time they could. Also not true. A few instances does not an overall truism make, Jesse. Keep repeating to the faithful here, though.
Also, people did obsess over Edward’s personal life as much as any other possible POTUS candidate in the leadup to 2008. Also not true. So much as to an out and out lie. And 2008 is in no way comparable to 6 months after the 2004 election, to compare apples to apples. 2008 is irrelevant, even if it were true that his personal life was scrutinized. It wasn’t. Rumors were rampant, well known and well-sourced, and the MSM ignored or chose to ignore them.
It’s just that his family wasn’t clownshoes crazy so ya’ know, there wasn’t a new story every five seconds. Debatable. One has to be on a certain level of delusion to to think he could get away with what he was getting away with, at least in the long run.
You were 0-4, Jesse. Try again.
Dennis:
So, I’m assuming you refer to Bob Dylan as Bob Zimmerman every time you mention him? Of course not. You’re not using Jon Stewart’s legal name for a reason. Now, you won’t admit that reason, but it’s plainly obvious.
And by a few times, do you mean less than every time? Because if you’re really saying conservatives weren’t throwing President Obama’s middle name in tangents for no good reason a lot, then you’re just an idiot.
There were also rumors Dubya was drinking again and he was fucking Condi Rice. In 2004, they had the same level of facts associated with them as the Edward’s stories – none. Should the NYT traveled the world to see if those stories were true too? The fact is, people are covering the Palin’s stories because they are happening in plain sight. Should the media ignore these stories?
And yes, Edward’s might have been stupid to think he could get away with it, but he also wasn’t giving the media just cause to follow him and try to catch him doing stupid things like Palin is.
Just because you can’t see the ball because it’s gone out of the yard, doesn’t mean I went 0-4 bucko.
Jesse Ewiak FTW!
Spank!
There were also rumors Dubya was drinking again
Rumors that were not unfounded, like the time Bush got wasted and almost ran over reporters. Yeah, fun times.
So, I’m assuming you refer to Bob Dylan as Bob Zimmerman every time you mention him? Of course not. You’re not using Jon Stewart’s legal name for a reason. Now, you won’t admit that reason, but it’s plainly obvious. Jesse Ewiak
Jesse, all you’ve done is defend a politician you loved, or once loved, and smeared one you hate and are obsessed over, and nothing more.
I have referred to Bob Dylan as Bob Zimmerman on several occasions; I saw no reason for anyone to be offended by it. I’ve read Stewart’s birth name in several places also where there was no reason to take it negatively; in fact, the articles were written positively and the birth name reference out of respect for him. I live close to and have friends that played soccer at W&M where he also played and there is still an award there named after him, his birth name, for the funniest player on the team every year. I doubt people call that anti-Semitic, but then folks here might. You would defend Oliver’s calling Paul Wolfowitz as “the filthy Wolfowitz”, because you would never belief he’s got an anti-Semitic cell in his body, but somehow you can look inti my soul and divine my thoughts and intent. It’s funny how you guys have that special ability to accurately define what you are certain are dog whistles with people you’ve never met before.
You said “conservatives mentioned Barack _HUSSEIN_ Obama every time they could”, which I said was bullshit, to which you backed of and replied “a lot” [then]. ‘A lot’ to you is different to me and it’s certainly quite different than “conservatives mentioned it every time they could”. You backtracking and then calling me an idiot for not ancknowledging your backed off statement makes you the idiot.
As to the NY Times and the Edwards-Hunter rumors, you are just plain wrong as to the information available vs. the loony left’s conspiracy theories about Bush’s drinking and affair with Condi Rice. Even Bill Keller from the NYTimes issued an apology for how they backed off the Edwards’ story. Show me one story of anything like that with Bush’s supposed drinking and an alleged affair with Condi Rice. That is just pure craziness, Jesse.
“And yes, Edward’s might have been stupid to think he could get away with it, but he also wasn’t giving the media just cause to follow him and try to catch him doing stupid things like Palin is.“
Quite possibly the most bizarre sentence ever written at OliverWillis.com. You are in tough competition but that one is special, Jesse.
FTW? Hardly think so. It is proof positive from your fan who wrote that the fringes on the far left are just as weird and scary as those on the far right.
Dennis the Bigot: “And no one ever said anything here about Jon Stewart being an Elitist Jew till you did. That’s anti-Semitism on your part, Ed, projecting views you obviously hold on someone else. Why else bring it up? Strange that.”
Projecting about projecting.
That’s awesome right there.
You brought up Jon Stewart’s birth name and then lied about why you did so. It’s clear that this was a case of anti-Semitism.
Bringing up the fact that you are anti-Semitic is not projecting. It is stating a fact.
Rumors that were not unfounded, like the time Bush got wasted and almost ran over reporters. Zython
Shakesville? Excellent source to display your understanding of the words “rumors that were not unfounded”, Zython.
You’re really good at this. Truly, FTW.
Dennis: “Ed, you are not alone. I always thought you were somewhat strangely unique.
You’ve been archetyped as ‘The Relentless Pol’.
(Posters who can’t join any discussion without immediately using it to make a political point, i.e., “The current lack of sunspots is the direct result of the Bush administration’s failed policies.” aka, Rush Limbaugh is a racist idiot.)”
Ummm…. Dennis. You do know this is a political website, right?
I mean, you can’t be that fucking stupid, can you?
You brought up Jon Stewart’s birth name and then lied about why you did so. It’s clear that this was a case of anti-Semitism. CSS
Never lied once, Strowbridge. You however, have. That you’ve admitted to. Partially, at least, as far as you said that what you admitted to making up could still conceivably be true, when you lied about Jay Te being fired from his former job. You have a distinct pattern of making things up to attack people you hate for holding views different from your own, which is definitely bigotry.
I guess you would defend someone describing a Jew as “filthy” is alright in your book, but possess the special powers to divine intent when someone you can’t stand and live to attack names in passing a Jewish person’s birth name when there are hundreds of references to that name in positive veins and there is no secret by him that that was his birth name, one he jokes about, and jokes about being Jewish. And his original name is still being used to this day at a famous scholl less than an hour away from me.
Ummm…. Dennis. You do know this is a political website, right? Southern Strategy
Ummmm…Douchebag. For you, it’s probably more about the comics, but yes, I’m aware. The archetype still fits Mister ed. For ed, every thread boils down to “rush Limbaugh is a racist asshole and that’s the problem with the Republican party.” For you, Relentless Pol CS Strowbridge, it’s:
“Southern Strategy, I knew it!!!”
Me: “You brought up Jon Stewart’s birth name and then lied about why you did so. It’s clear that this was a case of anti-Semitism. CSS”
What? You didn’t call me Southern Strategy here? I’m actually talking about your bigotry and you don’t mention the Southern Strategy?
Dennis the Bigot: “Never lied once, Strowbridge.”
Yes you did. You gave several inconsistent excuses for bringing up Jon Stewart’s birth name. They can’t all be correct, therefore you lied.
“You however, have. That you’ve admitted to. Partially, at least, as far as you said that what you admitted to making up could still conceivably be true, when you lied about Jay Te being fired from his former job.”
In order to lie, one must have the intent to deceive. I was trying to insult J.G.Thayer, not convince him he had been fired, so it was not a lie.
When I call you a motherfucker, I am not trying to convince people you are fucking a mother, yours or anyone else’s.
Me: “Ummm…. Dennis. You do know this is a political website, right?”
Dennis the Bigot: “Ummmm…Douchebag. For you, it’s probably more about the comics…”
Oh good, you brought up the time you showed you couldn’t count past two. Now I can bug you about that till you run away from this thread.
Dennis the Bigot: “For you, Relentless Pol CS Strowbridge, it’s:
‘Southern Strategy, I knew it!!!’”
Hey Dennis, I let you in on a little secret…
You are a racist piece of shit.
The party you believe in has at its core an incredibly racist political strategy. This is why it attracts racist pieces of shit like you.
You want me to stop calling you a racist piece of shit, stop acting like racist piece of shit.
You want me to stop calling you a racist piece of shit, stop acting like racist piece of shit. CSS
You can call me anything you want to, Strowbridge. Everyone here knows you will just make shit up just for the sake of your obsessive-compulsive desire to attack anyone who makes you look as foolish as you are. Like a guy with Tourette’s Syndrome, shocking at first when you first hear him spout offensive words, then you realize it’s a complication he can’t help himself for, so you just ignore it the best you can.
In order to lie, one must have the intent to deceive. I was trying to insult J.G.Thayer, not convince him he had been fired, so it was not a lie. –CSS
What a load of crap. You were trying to convince the few people who read what you write into believing Jay Tea had in fact been fired. You didn’t back down from it. It was an intent to deceive others. Of course it wasn’t an intent to deceive Jay Tea, you ignoramus. He would of course know if he had been fired and he wouldn’t need you to convince him of it. That is the most absurd explanation of anything you have ever written here.
Your guidance counselor at De Grassi High either pimped you very bad or you didn’t listen to a word he said. Likely he was slightly to the right of Stalin so you didn’t listen to him- you took the path to the far Left and things have gone horribly wrong for you ever since. The anger inside you screams out in agony.
Shorter Dennis: beep..beep..beep…
ed: “Shorter Dennis: beep..beep..beep…”
Actually, it’s just, ‘Waaahhhh!’
What’s truly pathetic, is the fact that he is actually becoming boring.
Shorter Dennis: beep..beep..beep… ed
Says the closet racist who thinks it’s cute to capitalize ‘Black Friends’.
This is you, Mister ed….“Black people love me.”. “Trust me, they do.”
Shorter Dennis: Steven Colbert is a racist (and Rush Limbaugh isn’t)!
Shorter Dennis: Steven Colbert is a racist (and Rush Limbaugh isn’t)!
I don’t think either of them are. I’m starting to think you very well might be.
Dennis, Ed capitalized ‘Black Friend’ in accordance with a well-accepted orthographic convention. Any unique position title is capitlized; e.g., ‘king’ is not, but ‘King of Sweden’ is.
‘Oliver Willis’s black friend’ but ‘Dennis’s Black Friend’.
Ed was asking _you_ the question:
“Did you ever ask your Black Friend what they think about Rush Limbaugh?” Since imaginary people cannot answer questions, Ed’s question is moot.

Here’s another one just for you.
I don’t think either of them are. I’m starting to think you very well might be.
And you obviously don’t watch much Colbert, because you don’t get it. Furthermore, I’m not convinced you know it’s parody, because you display all the characteristics of Colbert (the character) without any of the irony. It’s quite remarkable, really. Thanks again for offering such a ripe target for mocking. By all means, please keep coming back for more.
Dennis the Bigot: “Says the closet racist who thinks it’s cute to capitalize ‘Black Friends’.”
Oh jeez.
It’s a cultural reference.
urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Black+Friend
Someone who has a ‘Black Friend’ as opposed to a ‘black friend’ is someone hangs out with a visible minority as a way to appear non-racist.
Ed was calling you racist.
Ed: “Shorter Dennis: Steven Colbert is a racist (and Rush Limbaugh isn’t)!”
Dennis the Bigot: “I don’t think either of them are.”
There we have it, Dennis the Bigot has said he doesn’t think Rush Limbaugh is racist!
Dennis the Bigot: “I’m starting to think you very well might be.”
Projection!

Nothing there, Zython. Just like your first example.
Better go back to your gaming sites and shoot up your digital monsters.
Someone who has a ‘Black Friend’ as opposed to a ‘black friend’ is someone hangs out with a visible minority as a way to appear non-racist. –Southern Strategy
Yeah, and that’s exactly how Mister ed acts. He makes a point to say he has black friends as a way of bragging how open-minded he is, that he talks to them occasionally about Rush Limbaugh (like there’s anything else he’s capable of talking about). That’s douchebaggery and an indication that he’s really just a closet racist.
You too are both douchebags, actually. Your whining about projection all the time is just projection itself.
You and Mister ed both attack people for traits that you both have yourselves as a way of transferring guilt.
Me: “Someone who has a ‘Black Friend’ as opposed to a ‘black friend’ is someone hangs out with a visible minority as a way to appear non-racist.”
Dennis the Bigot: “Southern Strategy”
Translation: “Waaaahhhh!”
Dennis the Dennis: “Yeah, and that’s exactly how Mister ed acts. He makes a point to say he has black friends as a way of bragging how open-minded he is…”
Got a link for that?
Dennis the Bigot: “You and Mister ed both attack people for traits that you both have yourselves as a way of transferring guilt.”
Your projection about projection is getting tiresome while accusing us of projecting about projecting.
Fascinating.
Then again, you don’t think Rush Limbaugh is racist, you accusing Ed and I on the subject you reassure everyone here that we are not racist.
Notice how, mysteriously enough, Dennis continues to avoid answering the simple question and instead tries to change the subject. Who could have predicted?
Dennis only wants to discuss issues where he won’t be challenged. I’m still waiting for a reply on how comparing Edwards to Palin impacts her current failures as the governor of Alaska.
Hell will have to freeze over before he can reply cogently and intelligently to that.
And he knows it, hence the silence.
I feel sorry for people who are allergic to reality.
Nothing there, Zython. Just like your first example.
Hmm…what seems to be the problem, then? Is it:
A. You don’t want to believe it’s true.
B. You think he was sober when it happened.
C. You’re illiterate (I’ll assume this if you can’t/won’t answer)
Please, inquiring minds wish to know.

So video games aren’t a valid hobby? More elitism from the arrogant right.
There is no mystery for not answering any of your questions. You never answer mine.
Dennis: “There is no mystery for not answering any of your questions. You never answer mine.”
Two points.
1.) Oh the hypocrisy.
2.) You are a liar.
There is no mystery for not answering any of your questions. You never answer mine.
I did a search on this page for your posts, and none of them are asking me a question.
Hmm…what seems to be the problem, then? Is it:
No, actually, he’s right. There’s nothing there. Like no link.
