Throw all of the illegal employers in jail. That would immediately reduce the increase in undocumented immigrants coming for jobs. Considering the right wing shredded the Constitution, personally, any immigrant that can swear allegiance to the Constitution and lawfully follow a path to the citizenship are a welcome improvement to the lawless right wing haters that are already here.

Oh yeah, and the demographics have moved against the Republicans on this one.

The three states with the largest and rapidly growing hispanic populations – California, Texas (Jose was the most popular baby name there in ’07) and Florida – are worth 116 out of the 270 votes one needs to win the presidency.

It’s evolve-or-die time for the GOP.

Oh yeah, and the demographics have moved against the Republicans on this one. You can’t stamp down on illegal immigrants without getting the base riled up about people speaking Spanish and celebrating Cinco de Mayo. And that just reinforces the image that the GOP is the party of racism.

Increase legal immigration. Ta da! 90% of the problem goes away.

If you can get a job, you are an American. It’s that simple. This will stop a lot of the illegal immigration, including sex trade, sweat shops, etc.
