Oprah Quitting TV Show In 2011

The David Gregory Fade

Meet The Press is getting serious competition from This Week. Gregory’s show is even more filled with non-news than under the late Tim Russert, and the viewers are noticing.

Chris Wallace and Fox News Sunday are way behind everyone else, even CBS.

  1. Repack Rider says:

Wait. Gregory is even MORE of a hack than Russert? Is that possible (Hey, I don’t watch this crap.)

I thought the dictionary used Little Russ’ photo to illustrate the definition of shill.

  2. Quaker in a Basement says:

Did you know the Onion News Network just won a Peabody award?

    Take that, O’Reilly!

  3. jr says:

David Gregory is an aqua net addicted freak reading McCain tweets on the air

  4. What did you expect from MC Rove’s dance partner?

  5. The sycophantic MSM is slow to realize that the majority of the country is now looking in an entirely new direction, and their bullshit pandering to the Right is no longer fooling anyone.

  6. Replacing Cheney’s mouthpiece (Russert) with Karl Rove’s dance partner (Gregory) was definitely a downward move.

Chuck Todd would have been a better choice but that’s why he did get the job: He hadn’t yet shown enough subservience to the right people.

Credit GE/MS/NBC though, they may finally achieve “balance” on their cable channel: the three hours of a Republican politician (Scarborough) babbling right wing nonsense in the morning will be “balanced” by three hours of truth speakers in the evening (Olbermann, Maddow, & Schultz).

Hopefully MSNBC will put up podcasts for Schultz as they have for Maddow and Olbermann.

Each day their shows are available in several formats: .wmv, .m4v, & .mp3.
