“Sean Hannity would never want his children to marry mine but I suck up to him anyway”-Sam the unlicensed plumber

  2. Duros62 says:

The fake plumber was stumped, admitting that he only knows “a little” on most issues. “I don’t know everything about everything,” he added.

There’s the fucking understatement of the year.

I think on the 15-minute of fame scale, he is on 14:59.

His usefulness as a GOP useful idiot is drawing to a close.

  5. Repack Rider says:

Someone should hand him a pipe wrench and ask him if he knows the name of the tool.

    He’s probably say, “Joe.”

  6. The way I understand it is that EFCA legislation makes the card check for unionization potential SECRET FROM THE EMPLOYER and that’s what is freaking out the right.

As it is, if employees want a union the EMPLOYER controls a great deal of what happens. The employer is told well ahead of time that the employees are considering voting for a union and that provides the employer the ability to call in each employee individually (and without anyone advocates besides them) to “explain” to the employee why a union would be bad for the employee.

It’s usually just a mild form of workplace harassment but at some of these “explanations” some of the THREATS BY THE EMPLOYER are very real.

Often the employer will tell employees that their jobs will disappear (move away, go south of the border) if they unionize. That’s a serious threat to an employees job.

There’s also a long record of employees who have lost their job after the employer learned they were advocating for unions.

If I’m understanding correctly, card check means that if enough employees sign to join a union the employer doesn’t have the opportunity for the kind of heavy handed intimidation.

Unless an employee decides to inform the employer that a card check movement is going on, an employer might not find out until the employees have already chosen to unionize.

    Does anyone understand differently?

Googling [EFCA legislation] just seems to bring up a LOT of anti-union websites.

The text of the proposed legislation would be useful.

    YA Voll! LMFAO

Joe Six Pack doesn’t get something….you don’t say!

  9. Quaker in a Basement says:

As has been thoroughly documented, Mr. Wurzelbacher is not actually a plumber. However he did work for a plumbing company.

Does that make him Joe the Plumber’s Helper?

Hm. Well, that’s very different isn’t it? Jay, your thoughts?

  11. Recon-Team says:

You damn liberals are like a bunch of animals attacking some average man who DARED to question the OBAMESSIAH.

Oh and just because he is not part of a union does not mean he is a “fake” plumber. Does everybody have to be a unionized asshole to be “real” to you people?

  12. C.S.Strowbridge says:

“Hm. Well, that’s very different isn’t it? Jay, your thoughts?”

J.G.Thayer and Jay Caruso are still fighting the mob. The mob was kicked out of unions around the same time they were kicked out of Vegas.

On the other hand, according to the feds, 91% of the time employees try to unionize, employers use illegal tactics. I wonder what their thoughts on that are? Probably, ‘The fed numbers are lies. Lies!’

    It’s because he’s an idiot.

  14. Jaim says:

“Oh and just because he is not part of a union does not mean he is a ‘fake’ plumber.”

He’s a fake plumber because he isn’t legally certified to be a plumber.

But thank you for making us all dumber with your contribution here.

When you act like an asshole, make sure you are correct on the fact.

As it has been pointed out, he is not a licensed plumber, therefore, he is a ‘fake’ plumber. It has nothing to do with unions.

Secondly, the man is speaking out against the EFCA when he doesn’t know what it does. That deserves ridicule no matter what his political affiliation is.

  16. Duros62 says:

And he didn’t DARE to QUESTION the “OBAMESSIAH LGARGLEGLARGLE”

He asked a question on the campaign trail, which he got a very specific answer to.

Come to find out his question was bogus, as was his reaction to the answer. Thus, the attention-whore was born.
