"Nice PD100, way to mix in the homophobia."

No. No. And again, No. I'm poinitng out that he Cutler soft and not invoking TEH GAY. Given Cutler's reaction to the ribbing he got from Phil Rivers, anyone with at least half a brain would say "This guy is a wuss."

Get it?

Campbell should be happy to get out of DC. The skins kill QB careers. Ramsey and Hasselback both took the fall for a week team, poor coaching and no receivers. Stop and think how many QB's have been in DC since theisman. We'll buy a name QB this year and a new Big name Coach next year, unless Zorn wins a superbowl and makes his own name this year. You'd think at some point Snyder would wake up and look at his history. QB's, coaches, draft picks ... time to trade Cerrato, eh!

Crusty Dem - Whatever team trades for him has to pick-up his contract and they are going to give up something (draft picks)
Cutler is going to get paid what he's under contract for no matter what. He may even do better, but that's up to his agent.
No, his numbers weren't off the chart, but they were good enough for a Pro-Bowl and when you look at his progression in 3 years, hey, they're pretty strong. What will he do with a good team that has a running game, receivers, and a good D ??? Think about it.
As far as the negative publicity, trust me, the blame for all this is on McDaniels lap and Cutler probably reacted the same way any other starting QB would have.

joaquin, he won't be cheap, but he will be undervalued (thanks to all the negative press). His numbers weren't phenomenal last year, but remember, he was all they had (Anybody out there think they can name their top rusher? Anyone? Look it up and 2 hrs later I'll bet you still won't know..). Everybody knew they'd be throwing and he still put up numbers.

Some bitter Denver fans will point to their record last year and say Cutler's not that good, but look at that defense, 5 yds/rush, 6 interceptions (total!), really, really bad..

All you have to do is look at his stats.

Every single year the guy has improved.

Crusty Dem - Cutler isn't going to be cheap especially when several teams (Skins, TB, Jets, Bears) step up to the plate.

Additionally, it should be noted that Bowlen fired Mike Shanahan (a consensus top 5 NFL coach) to hire this moron. In other words, it might be time to stop complaining about Danny-boy..

Strong arm with limp wrist. Cutler gets teary-eyed when fans boo him. Two more seasons before he moves on to another pro team.

why is this a bad thing for the redskins? cutler is younger and better than campbell.

Because Campbell is fine. If the Danny and the Vinny would stop yanking around his offensive systems, give him a halfway healthy offensive line, and learn how to draft a goddamn receiver once in a while instead of wasting an entire draft year on busts...oh, whatever.

As long as they don't give up a ton, getting Cutler would be a great move for Wash. He's a young guy, makes good decisions (esp for a young guy), has a cannon for an arm. If your biggest complaint about Cutler is that he's "disgruntled" the new coach wanted to bring his old QB from NE, well that's pretty weak. Frankly, everybody should be at least gruntled (per CS) since even NE fans would say Cutler>>>>Cassel.

Oh crap, I agree with joaquin. Well, I still think if you get a chance to get a QB with Cutler's abilities on the cheap, you jump at it. Being pissed at his idiot coach doesn't make him Jeff George/Ryan Leaf.

Cutler is a damn good fit for the Skins (and TB and Jets) How often does a young, proven, talented NFL QB become available? Not often. The question is, how many picks do you have to give up? 2 number ones? OUCH!
Aside from the fact that he's making some nice paychecks, Cutler has every reason to be pissed after what's gone down in Denver.
