Wouldn’t it be nice if we made a change from the Bush administration and favored rule of law?

You can’t just take people’s money or jail them because you don’t like them.

I agree with johnnymags. That isn’t feasible either. We already imprison more people than any other country. We shouldn’t get in the habit of jailing people who were doing what was expected of them, no matter how reprehensible it may seem to the rest of us.

The thing is they need to be in jail not the target of a government using the tax code (Improperly if you ask me) to get justice.
But that’s just my opinion.

Just throwin’ that out there.

I’m sort of conflicted on it, myself. I think the higher-ups understand that the symbolism here – kicking back while the government’s manning the bilge buckets – is more important than the actual dollar amount.
