Worst.
(technical).
President.
Ever.
Billion dollar a week failed occupation that the Dems are going to have to clean up. A broken military, with our soldiers maxed out on tours. Broken economy. Osama bin Laden is, as far as we know, still at large. Iraq is now the number one friend of Iran, a Shia-majority state. Afghanistan, a just invasion, has also proven to be a failure under Republican leadership, but hopefully President Obama can turn it around.
Worst. President. Ever.
Except for maybe Hoover. But Chimpy is definitely among the worst three ever, hands down.
Cons need people not related to them to die or become amputees to feel tough by proxy
Jaim: Worst. President. Ever.
Able to be so (in part) by the Worst. Congress. Ever. On both sides of the aisle.
Republican Bush’s Iraq Legacy:
Republican Bush left nuclear armed Pakistan infected with the right wing religious extremists that he failed to take care of in Afghanistan because he was gung ho for taking on Iraq.
Bush had to lie US into the Iraq war with falsified “intelligence.”
The heavy cost of the thousands of Americans who have died or been wounded (and the countless Iraqi deaths) was aggravated by the right wingers childish warfare fantasies. “Bring ‘em on,” “Mission Accomplished,” the mocking of General Shinseki’s warning of needing ‘on the order of several hundred thousand troops’ to secure the peace.
The right wing’s use of torture that’s been used to radicalize and recruit populations into hostile actions against US.
The alienation of allies and the antagonism of enemies around the world.
The $500 billion dollar war that may end up costing over $3 TRILLION once all the costs are added up.
The $5 TRILLION debt that Bush saddled on US because he and his right wing buddies didn’t have either the sense or the patriotism to PAY for the war they lied US into.
And that’s just a short list that doesn’t include the lunatic right wing economic theories that created the global financial crisis and gambled America’s economic future.
