“I’ll make you proud”-Chip Reid to Jeff Gannon
Well, at least Chip Reid has outed himself as a right wing troll.
Apparently he’s fulfilling his function at Viacom/CBS/Redstone Corp by defending extreme right wing ideology while pretending to be a “journalist.”
Still, it is really extreme for Chip Reid to actively defend a war criminal like Republican Dick Cheney, a man who enabled torture, lied US into the Iraq War, and who has used fear for political purposes throughout his career (Cheney’s fearmongering goes back to the 1970’s with the duplicitous “Team B”).
Apparently to CBS’s Chip Reid, a former Vice President’s toxic attacks on a current President is okay as long as it’s a Republican attacking a Democratic leader.
But if the current Democratic President’s spokesperson hits back at those Republican attacks, that’s somehow “attitude.”
At this point Chip Reid’s reflexive right wing bias constitutes a pattern. Chip Reid is now CBS/Viacom/Redston Corp’s official point man for right wing regurgitation, busily protecting the top %02 percent with one side of his mouth even while he’s whining that less than 2 percent of pork means the stimulus is “stuffed with pork-barrel spending.”
At this point Chip Reid is just another right wing lobbyist.
