I really have no problem with this. I work out in the middle of my day quite often and feel it gives me a lot of energy to push through the late afternoon doldrums. I stay more alert. Mr. Steele has a thankless job leading thankless people. If he feels the need to put a little vanity into himself and his working space, by all means he should. He's the boss now, and his back stabbing minions need to let him get to work. It's gonna be a rough 4 years as Chairman of the GOP no matter how good of a job Mr. Steele can do. In the meantime, you can't deny that the republican circular firing squad makes for compelling drama... I like it! According to the article, he has a bowflex in his office suite.
